Why do people hate Margarito?

    If a guy can dump weight with out having to seriously strain himself, that can be a huge advantage on fight night.

    Look guys.

    Margarito only had lotion on his pads. He didn't cheat.

    He was just jerking himself off before the fight.

    i dont hate him or his style i really liked to watch his fights but if you cheat and as a result of your cheating it increases the chances of your opponent getting permantley injured,then you are a ****ing twat

    Well, Margarito has been hated since WAY before the Mosley fight, the thread I believe was made before that fight and the supposed cheating was discovered.

    So him being accused of cheating just added more fuel to the fire, and people NOW had a valid reason to openly hate him.

    For the record, Plaster of Paris was not proven to be in his pads, gloves or wraps.

    Back to the point, San Rafael made a great point as to why he is not liked, but I think mainly for several reasons.

    PBF fans cus he made PBF look like a *****.
    Cotto fans because he made Cotto quit.
    Williams fans because they claimed Margarito was limited yet the fight was so close.
    Clottey fans because Margarito won 8 rounds to 4.

    And the rest would be based on what San Rafael said.

    Now that he has beena ccused new haters have risen, but the sad part is that nothing was ever proven.
