Why do people hate Margarito?

He has an awkward style.

 

Well the thing is, Mayweather has PROVEN that he is the best fighter in the world, and out of top fighters from 130-160, he would be favored to win every single one of them. So as pretentious as a Mayweather fan may seem, at least he has an arguable case.

 

160 is a bit stretch. maybe i would favor floyd up to junior middleweight and that's just because that division sucks now.

 

I dont hate him. But I dont like his fighting style. I prefered skilled boxers. If I wanted to see nothing but action I'd watch WWE. I dont like the fact that he is simply another fighter capitalizing off his size against smaller fighters and is only good at welter because he can impose his will on smaller guys. I dont like his fans like the endless cadre of Mexicans who only like him because he's Mexican.

But overall I dont hate the guy. Why would I hate someone I dont know.

I don't know that he's really hated. I wouldn't worry about it too much, I'm sure that the ppl that hate him still watch all his fights cuz they're exciting to watch

 

You know I definitely agree with you on this one. No way Floyd can take on the pressure and punch volume from a naturally heavier and taller fighter. Plus, he's the middleweight champion.:good
