Why do people here underrate Donaire's ability?

    RC, you peg it...and you picked the fight too. You have to give Donaire credit for an excellent win. Was very surprised at how he set up that KO shot. He braced for it, took a right hand from a very good puncher at the weight, and cranked a left hook. That was the thing, I saw Donaire getting hit with that punch, but did not not see him taking it and coming back like he did. It was impressive...very impressive. He went up in my book definitely.

    I don't think people on ESB underestimate Donaire, he is on many p4p lists between 2 and 4, doesn't seem like underestimating.

    Donaire>Mares, Beko, Perrez

    Underrate? :lol: Donaire was already slightly overrated in terms of P4P before the Montiel fight (Ring and other boxing outlets having him in the top 4-7 range) now he is massively overrated (Ring and other boxing outlets having him in the top 2-4 range). Skills wise he is very impressive, but he still has lots to prove in the ring, at least to me, to warrant a top 5 rating.
