Why do people judge the old time fighters so harshly?

But where does this supposed flash of genius come from though? How does one guy all of sudden come along and dominate the old style with what is supposed to be a new style? They would have to learn it from an old trainer wouldn't they? Like Louis and Blackburn, Louis looks pretty modern and I doubt Blackburn knew anything Johnson didn't know.

Everyone has to learn from someone. So the old timer would have to teach the new fighters for anything to happen.

Somebody has to have invented it at some point, and it is unlikely to have passed without notice.

Once again, I disagree completely. New techniques and tactics can emerge gradually, from trial and error or goofing around in the gym. Or a smart fighter or trainer could see another fighter do something and then figure out ways to improve upon it and systematize it. You don't take out a patent for figuring out new footwork or combinations...

Yes but somebody has to be the first person to employ the new technique to serious effect, and it is not going to pass completely without comment.

    That is just not realistic.

Jack Johnson throws a snappy jab in the Ketchel fight. He doesn't throw it much but it's a good fast jab.

Tyson would of been too big and fast for Joe Louis. Its genetics foxy. Simple math.

Foxy, seriously, you are going to get yourself banned again dude. If you keep posting stuff about *** and kids the MODs are going to have no choice but to ban you. Don't put the mods in that position dude, i don't want to loose you :good

I wont report you, i promise foxy, i find your posts entertaining. However, i fear the mods may not feel the same way. They banned you once already correct foxy?

If you keep doing the same thing i would assume they would ban you a second time wouldn't you?

I don't want you banned as i will feel guilty that i kind drove you mental and ruined your membership here and i don't want that burden on me foxy :deal

Yeah but anyways, Tyson's left hook was a monster, Joe Louis was how heavy? 190? come on foxy, Tyson would walk through Joe like i would walk through you old cowardly pervert :bbb
