why do people keep saying morales got beaten soundly?

lederman had garcia up one point going into the 11th. im not impressed with garcia. morales was slow with very little work rate.

garcia's time at the top will be very short-lived.

Garcia seemed to have the most damaging blows. First time around I was watching a split screen with this and another card. Seemed like the blows that caught my attention in the Morales fight were always with him on the receiving end.

I find it very hard to score objectively when someone like Morales is fighting. You want him to win close rounds.
I had it very close till the 11th but I'm well aware I was probably scoring through red white and green glasses. There's a few too many people who I know know their stuff on ESB saying it was wide.

He lost but it wasnt wide, the 116-112 judge scored it best, the others were watching a different fight.

The judges and open cards screwed Morales. If his pops didnt show Morales the judges were robbing him he never wouldve left himself open for the left hook and got dropped. Most likely he wouldve went on and knocked Garcia out in the 12th. Damn judges always ****ing with people.

My favorite moment in the fight was when Morales mimicked Garcia missing a couple of punches.

Garcia won clearly imo, cannot see an argument being made for EM winning anymore than 4 rounds and 4 rounds is being generous IMO. 9-3 Garcia plus KD

I'm not sure what a lot of people were watching, I thought it was very close with the fight being down to the last 2 rounds. Morales was catching most of Garcia's punches and was consistently the more accurate fighter.

Morales was doing good work with his jab and was also finding a home for left hooks and right hands over the top. Garcia didn't end up with a swollen, bloody face from nothing, Morales had been tagging him all night.

Garcia was much flashier, but Morales showed more actual substance through the first 10 rounds but lost it in the last 2.

He had a small roll around the belt line. I don't know that he can put in the work required at this point. There is a reason they call it 'hungry'. :D

Yeah, he mimicked they way Garcia threw his punches...wide instead of straight. Hilarious!
