Why Do People Make Excuses About Upcoming/Potential Mayweather Opponents slowing down

People love to say that " Floyd is waiting for such and such to slow down" even though Floyd is older than fighters like Pacquiao, and Cotto. Then they say, well they have been in more fights and more wars and therefore it has taken a toll on them.

First off, its not Floyd's fault that they have **** defense and get hit upside the head more then he doesnt.

Secondly, why hasn't JMM slowed down. He just schooled the #2 p4p fighter in the world at a weight that everyone was saying was too big for him and did it a ripe 38yrs old. JMM has been in plenty of wars and taken alot of punishment and yet still as of Nov. 2011 he has shown himself to be an elite fighter. It completely dispels the notion, that ring wars automatically equals to slowing down.

The fact is Pacquiao, hasn't slowed down, he's just been exposed as an exiting but limited fighter who will struggle with movement and counter punching. Cotto hasn't slowed down either. He was overrated in the 1st place because people needed a great hope fighter who they could hype up to beat Mayweather. No version of Cotto past or present could beat Mayweather.

Lets just stop with all the slowing down excuses and acknowledge that these guys are gonna get their ass kicked by Floyd becasue he's just the superior fighter.

 

So shot that Pacquaio refused to fight him unless he drained himself again??
