Why do people not acknowledge that Hopkins/Pascal 2 was a close fight?

    competitive fight but I can't really take anyone who thought Pascal won seriously. Another recent example is Froch-Johnson. Close but very clear fights

    Close as in it wasn't a shut out sure, could of gone either way? come on now are you saying Bernard didnt clearly win by 4 rounds? If so I label you a idiot with a agenda for any non-american fighters(as bad as we are we dont bull**** when our charges fail to perform).

    Hopkins 8-4. It should have been 116-110, 2 kds were not counted.

    I had it close and if Hopkins is still fighting and Pascal for example beats Bute or Froch/Ward then a rubbermatch needs to be made

    Yep. I felt watching the second fight that unfamiliarity and youth were Pascal's only advantages in the first fight.

    After the jitters and feeling out? It seemed like one of those, "That guy is just better than me." deals. You know you can win some rounds, but you could never actually win a whole fight after the first one.

    Very true. A few rounds that Pascal actually won I think got flipped that way.

    I was so busy losing my mind that I didn't even score it technically. B-Hop! B-hop! :nut

    Fight was close, but it was a clear Hopkins win. It wasn't a difficult fight to score, when Pascal won a round it was close when Hopkins won a round he was more dominant. I have not seen anything to suggest that anyone thought it wasn't a close fight. Failey is grasping at straws now to fuel his hate campaign.

    Like I said to you on the Calzaghe/Reid fight. Tell me how in Calzaghe/Hopkins you could have scored any of these rounds to Hopkins 12, 11, 9, 8, 7, 4. Other rounds besides these I thought Calzaghe won like 5 & 6, but im curious how you could have scored any of those 6 rounds I noted to Hopkins.
