It was actually I forgot about that. hard to gauge what the weight was, it wasnt 20 lbs more than Martinez though. I don't think people understand how much that is

He's not a natural junior middleweight but after beating De La Hoya and Cotto there it's fair to ask him to fight there.

Nah, man. It's kinda' expected from them. Back when Floyd apparently showed interest in fighting Martinez, they were all...."Yeah, boy! What! I told ya'll! Money gon' tap dat maravilla ass, son. What!"... and began making threads on the fight almost being a done deal, and that Floyd should get props for it (that's right - props for being rumoured to fight someone).

Then when it turns out to be all bull**** and Floyd was never interested in fighting him, it changed to...."Naawww, Martinez too big, mang"

The same will happen with Canelo. They're shitting it at the moment because they percieve the fight to be too risky -- "b-b-b-but you just want to see Floyd hurt :cry:" -- and that Floyd appears to be disinterested (so they too will disregard the fight). But when Floyd in a month's time says he'll fight him, these same bitches will be back to boasting about Money May being a LMW champ, he'll beat Canelo, it's a great fight, etc.

 

There isn't anything stopping Oscar from saying, "Oh ok, well Canelo's fighting Cotto on the Mexican Holiday on a major PPV event. Good luck with Devon and yours, oh that undercard too. It only benefits us to wait YOU out."

There really isn't any fight for Floyd besides Canelo at 154, if they fight, it'll be next year. And I won't be surprised to see floyd stripped in the meantime.
