Agree with everything but the Fury will win easily part. AJ is actually being underrated at the moment by most.
Oh I completely agree. I was just pointing out that the general feeling is that Fury topples AJ. Personally, I expect AJ to surprise people.
I actually don’t mind when people say Fury wins unlike some Fury fans who lose the plot when you even say AJ has a chance but the consonant annoying takes from Fury fans(especially on twitter, seems to be a breeding ground for idiots) that think Fury is gonna win so easily and easier than he beat Wilder. Those takes properly annoy me.
Ortiz has good power, I refer you to a fight against a peak Jennings for evidence of it as Jennings is a very tough fighter but seemed to be all over the place the whole night with Ortiz.
it all depends on your individual perception,,, the guys i read a lot on this forum HATE AJ so i come from a perception of thinking he is way better than they trash him with,,, then again they are using smack talk/hyperbole so i am also take them too seriously,,, think about it, no wonder there is so much confusion going on,,,, he did beat old Vlad afterall, he did beat Ruiz after getting hammered, he does have good guys on his resume for such few fights since he turned pro
I used to only dislike Fury a little bit but his fanbase have been so insufferable since beating Wilder I’ve started to dislike him strongly. Wilder I’ve always thought was a wa*ker.
Unified champion with the best resume in the division. Some might complain about the age of some fighters he has beaten, but I always point to this; would you rather a fighter fight a very good opponent who’s past their prime, or a lesser fighter, who’s in their prime? It’s not Joshua’s fault that 40 year old Wlad was still the best in the division. Nor was it his fault that the division was so weak that Povetkin was, and still is, a top 5 heavyweight contender. Joshua is largely underrated if anything.
Fury is at least entertaining. I agree about some of his fans, but don't let those fools choose for you. Fury can't control what they say.
A better question is why do people rate Fury so high? A steroid cheat who has been knocked down numerous times, fought mostly bums and has avoided most of the top heavyweights his entire career. He has only 2 good wins on his record yet a lot of people say he's the best thing since Ali. It doesn't make sense.
Hang on... Ran close by Parker? Don't be silly, he didn't get out of 2nd gear. I could ask the same of Parker. Why do so many rate him whilst he's clearly average Joe? You have to rate aj atleast a little bit as a boxing fan, he's done alright up to now whether you like it or not. Being hurt, buzzed and knocked down doesn't make for a poor fighter, it's fighting, if these things never happened in a fight now and then you'd have to question that more, no? how one responds to said downfalls is how you rate a fighting man and upto now he's responded and done what he needs to do, soooooo..
I want to see fatso beat somebody decent like joshua . Somebody who can box , has power and size and it’s not 40. I will be rooting for fury although I think he is overtated af .
He's got to be joking around. As soon as he told me Fury just has to watch for Joshua's right hand i knew he was trolling
I'm not a fan of Joshua at all. I don't like some of the media things I have read but that has nothing to do with what he has done as a boxer. I think what he has done in boxing is very respectable and impressive He has within 25 fights won WBA IBF WBO HW titles twice and is a 2 time champion He has beaten undefeated world class fighters in Whyte, Parker Has beaten W Klitschko, Povetkin, Pulev, Ruiz as well Never has he been in a world title fight where he has had more fights than his opponent Won his first world title in his 16th fight and was a unified champion before his 20th fight Yes he has a loss to Ruiz but personally I think he would beat Ruiz 8 out of 10 times. I heard he had been KOd in sparring and the effect of that may have effected him going into that fight, but I don't know if that is true, either way he avenged the loss in his very next fight So yes, I think what he has done as a boxer is very respectable even if not a fan of the man
