Why do people rate Carl Froch so highly and thinking he's gonna win the tournament?

    Why would any sane, unbiased person think that Froch is going to beat Ward? First of all, Froch is vastly overrated. In the tournament, what has he done? In his first fight on the tournament, he got spanked and wobbled by pillow puncher Andre Dirrell, yet got awarded the home-town decision. In his second fight, he got bodied by Kessler, yet cried foul. His third fight, he beat an overrated, one dimensional gorilla arms Abraham, which Dirrell has already done before. His fourth fight, he beat grandpa Johnson, who had 10 plus losses, and who Bute knocked out a couple of months after. Do you honestly believe this guy is going to beat a U.S Olympian who hasn't lost for more than 15 years?

    Man, forum polls and bet-makers show that Ward is a favorite in this one. What you've just seen is a "who would you like to win" thread. Even on that thread people say that they root for Froch but Ward will probably win.
    It's just for fun, don't take that serious.

    because he is a warrior who fights anyone anywhere, he has taken the harder route to the final unlike ward, thats why he deserves it more.
    The logical outcome is ward winning though.

    Nope. Bute never knocked Johnson. Not even in sparring I think.

    whats ward done but fight at home against nobodys apart from kessler who was injured anyway.... and headbutted to death? the guys been dropped by a bum

    Cause in a perfect world Froch would win...

    I actually think this Ward is going to win by UD (even if he doesn't deserve it), but I'm a romantic :yep

    12 round lopsided decision. Compared to Froch who lost some rounds.

    Ward isnt an unbeatable superman, if Froch wins it wont be the biggest upset this year.

    Most neutrals are rooting for Froch because he has had a tougher path to the final & is more entertaining.
