The skillls difference between Hearns and Hagler was wider than the grand canyon.

Hearns outboxed absolute prime Ray Leonard at 147 pounds with ease for 12 rounds.

Skill doesn't always reign supreme. We saw how easily Hagler dispatched the far more skilled Hearns. Because he was a lot stronger and tougher than Hearns.

Anybody who thinks Margariot had a chance in hell is a complete Moron. He's just too damn slow. You can't have cement feet and pressure Floyd. Floyd would potshot him all night in route to 120-108 decision, and Maragrito would ***** how about how Floyd never hurt him and was scared to engage etc.... Maragrito got KOed by Mosley who Floyd proceeded to school. Margarito was never on Floyd's level and no one in history is going to remember him as anything other than a cheater.

Nobody rates Margarita highly, he's nothing more than a cheating bum.

Everyone knows that besides a handful of Mehicans and that cst guy.

In a fair fight with no Vegas corruption & no PED's abuse Manny Pacquaio would always beat Mayweather. Best of all Mayweather knows that too , As it was the best the cheater could do was squeak a 115-113 possible win against a one armed fighter while he was juiced up. 118-110 was CRIMINAL:patsch

I can tell you know very little about styles or match ups when regarding boxing. JLC is light years more skilled than Margo the very fact you bring up JLC shows how little you know about the sport. The only thing JLC and Margo have in common is that they are both Mexican they go about their business in completely different ways. and operate on completely different levels.

JLC is what you call an educated pressure fighter almost a boxer puncher at times. He applied educated pressure from behind a jab used subtle head movement wanted to cut the ring and get inside where he could go to work on the body he was at one time one of the best body punchers in the sport and had good power to boot. He was also seen as the best LW of his era, while Margo was never seen as the best of anything.

Margo on the other hand is an uneducated pressure fighter he didn't use a jab to get inside used no head movement he used the fact that he was a weight drainer to boil down and walk through shots of usually smaller men he was a plodder wasn't even that great of an inside fighter he just looked to overwhelm guys with workrate stamina and size that was the method to his madness. If you could stand up to his attack he could be very easily outboxed.

If you honestly think that a slow starter like Margo with no jab wide open with both slow hands and feet wouldn't get stuck and moved on beat to the punch all night long countered to hell and back you don't know **** about boxing. I mean it would be funny to watch Margo attempt time after time trying to mount an attack and get nothing but lead right hands clean counters and nothing of note to hit for his troubles.:yep Margo's style couldn't be more tailormade for a sharpshooter like PBF remember this, educated pressure is what can cause him problems not uneducated like the kind Margo brings and I'm being serious here Margo wouldn't win a round against PBF easy work.:deal

I think Floyd could win a stoppage on cuts against Margarito.

That would work against Mayweather. Just about everybody Mayweather fought had to at least try and not get hit. Margarito though would be the first to effectively block them with his face and not be fazed one bit. He was that strong and tough.

I see Floyd winning 9-1 going into the 11th. Then Margarito's pressure, chin and workrate finally consume Mayweather and Floyd's corner jumps into the ring to stop the fight.

I'm not Mexican nor am I cst whoever that is BUT I do rate Tony Margarito highly. He is a FIGHTER!! that came up the hard way. He was so feared that no one, Mayweather, DelaHoya included wanted any part of him. It took a juiced to the gills Mosely & a blatant lie from a worthless POS to beat a weightdrained sick Margarito & ruin his career.
Today Gennady Golovkin finds himself in the same position
every 160 pounder is afraid of him none want to fight him. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to him that happened to Margarito & he gets railroaded too He needs to be very careful

Pressure fighters are the most feared opponents in boxing. A good pressure fighter with a rock solid chin and stamina is a nightmare.

All you want to do is to just get a little break. But they just won't get the F off you.

The TIJUANA TORNADO would laugh at Froids pitty pat pot shots walk him down & DESTROY him. Vegas nor PED's would help Froid against a 100% Antonio:happy:happy:happy

    :lol::rofl
Now I know you're full of ****. You're betting on a guy like PBF who doesn't fade who has shown a great chin and the best defense of this era while comfortably ahead to all of a sudden start getting hit by Margo get hurt and they stop the fight. Like I said before in earlier post wishful thinking is all you have. Unrealistic scenarios that don't even make sense that's your ****ysis?:yep Bow out of this now while you still have a chance.

The reason Mayweather opted for the buyout rather than waiting for the May 6 result was because the contract had a limited window for the buyout, one that expired before the De La Hoya fight. However, Arum said he would have extended the window if Mayweather had asked. What Arum wouldn't do, he said, was raise the guarantees for other fights outlined in the contract.

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."
