Why do people rate Margarito so highly?

When did Margarito beat Mosley?

From my memory, Mosley absolutely destroyed him. And yet people can watch what that version of Mosley did to him, and somehow think he'd not be utterly dominated by Mayweather. Lol.

Margarito was a good fighter, but there was no point in time when he was the man at the weight. It's revisionist BS to suggest otherwise.

Ok I'll tell you why I rate Margarito...
I first met him back in 1999 when he was recommended as a good honest FIGHTER!! & he was put on a card in FT Worth Texas against the perennial Buck Smith. He knocked Buck out in 4. I think his record was 14-4 at the time not spectacular but when you check his record those losses came when he was a 16-17 yr old kid fighting seasoned fighters grown men. I saw his potential right then. Antonio was a FIGHTER!! take on anyone anytime type Pity some of the prima donnas today don't have his cojones.
He came up through the ranks & was really put in as an opponent for Cotto but Antonio LEGITIMATELY beat the bejabbers out of Cotto. In doing so he scared the hell out of Oscar & Floyd. Watch that video on U Tube where Tony confronts Floyd Floyd was TERRIFIED & actually soiled his pants Watch Floyd get hysterical lol
His career was marred & his good name tarnished by a blatant lie from Nazim Richardson who claimed he saw "PLASTER BLOCKS "fall from his wraps The CSAC took off like the Keystone Kops & banned Tony & his trainer Javier Capetillo.
What happened to those "PLASTER BLOCKS"?? All the lab found when his wrap was tested was a damp used HARMLESS gauze pad :fire With Tony banned for nearly 2 years Oscar & Floyd returned LOL That was the only way they could get him out of the WW scene they sure as heck wernt going to fight him
Ive personally seen Margarito's hands wrapped many many times & NEVER seen anything illegal. What happened to him was little short of CRIMINAL!!atsch:fire

There wasn't any actual physical proof, that's why they could only suspend him. If there was actually physical proof then he would have been charged with an actual crime, let alone suspension lol. Think about it.
