Why do people say AJ is an Olympic champ?

People say Park Si-Hun is an olympic champion too.

 

AJ is jerk who are robbering other fighters.

 

Why do you need help understanding? Both won Gold. It's simple as that.

 

He was definitely gifted the gold, but it is what it is and I'm just glad AIBA were stripped of the rights to represent boxing at the Olympics.

He may officially be the Olympic champion but anyone who seriously follows the sport knows he was fortunate to even get past the first round.

 

I think this always will be most famous and most surprising also for political reasons.
For this fight IOC used 5 judges.
2 judges had scored this fight for US boxer in RJJ as a winner: judge from Soviet Union and judge from soviet Hungary.
While 3 other judges did not had scored fight for RJJ as a winner.

 

I'm guessing it's probably because he is.

The difference is that Joshua robbed the medal while Usyk deserved It.

Yeah that's exactly how that works and is actually preferable to just getting stripped and then winning it back.

Both sugar rays. Ali. Lennox. Are these men not respectable multi time champions bc they lost a fight and then returned to defeat their former conquerors? Much better legacies than fury to date.
