What would he gain from doing so? If he really did?

They're idots, that's why they say Hoya took a dive. It would make no sense for Hoya to take a dive. He had nothing to gain from such actions.

They probably never received a debilitating left hook to the liver.

I don't think he took a dive; he just realized he was in over his head, and decided to stay down for the count.

he had the energy to roll around the ring, punch the floor and scream but he couldn't get up?

If you get shot in the leg you still can roll around and punch the floor but you can't get up,does that mean you don't want to?

They both went to Texas Acting School as a result of the contract. That's the same school where Chuck Norris went for Texas Ranger. Oscar used what he learns on Hopkins and it was an OK showing. Hopkins did a terrible job in the Calzaghe fight, even Mayweather did a better job on WWE. Rumors has it that Pac is already enrolled in the same school so we'll see how he does against Oscar. Don't tell me Oscar left hook bearly graze Pac and he's knock out already, haha.

Why do non-boxers make comments about what its like to take a shot? Imma pro and a left to the liver hurts with 16's during sparring let alone fight gloves. Ive knocked out a bunch of sparring partners with that shot, and one of them was a super middleweight.( imma super lightweight) Now imagine a bigger hopkins against a smaller hoya

idiots think dlh took a dive in order to get b-hop to join him at GBP...Also, many claim the punch wasn't a hard punch.

I disagree wholeheartedly but that's the argument.

Because he didn't act the way fighters normally due when they have been hurt by a body punch. Generally they look almost paralyzed in pain, off the top of my head Virgin Hill against RJJ is the normal look, De La Hoya didn't.
