I'm a huge Floyd fan, i would never say Floyd ducked Margarito but he should have added his name to his record. Baldomir was the number 1 man but Margarito was better.

    Seriously it's very simple

    1. Floyds Top Rank contract was ending.

    2. He would have had to sign a new contract if he wanted to fight Margarito

    3. Floyd said he wanted x amount of money, and a fight with Oscar

    4. Arum said No.No fight with oscar for 20m.

    5. Floyd left TR, went and fought Baldomir, and then Oscar for 25m.

    6. This propelled him into the superstar he is today

    7. No he did not duck Margarito

Unless you think he should have carried on with Top Rank, lost out on the 25m Oscar fight and probably most of the things that came after it, JUST to fight Antonio ****ing Margarito.

Funny how when Floyd left Arum, all of a sudden Arum's tune of Floyd being "the best boxer since Ali" turned into "he's the biggest ducker of all time". Sh*t is ridiculous...

If he didnt duck Margo, he would have ducked the De La Hoya career high payday.

If he didnt duck "prime" cotto, he would have fought him when he was too "green" and "overrated"

are you ******ed? cotto was undefeated and in his absolute prime when floyd took a vacation and did not make the fight. and we all know floyd totally ignored margo's challenge. the same thing he has ducked a prime pac.

punani, Floyd wanted to fight Cotto at 140 but Arum said he was to green, FLoyd announce that he was gonna have one more fight and retire after the Baldy fight. Cotto was still at 140 when he said that. after that fight he fought Oscar and Hatton then called it a day. He DID not duck Cotto or SSM (who he called out twice and one time SSM said he had a toothache:patsch). and as always Arum ****ed up the Margo fight:deal
