Why do people say that Pacquiao is faster than Mayweather?

    Just cause Judah has terrible focus/training/stamina/heart and Mayweather has great timing doesn't mean Judah is slower than Mayweather. Judah is more gifted atheletically than Mayweather, Floyd is just better schooled and a harder worker in the gym. Cotto also kicked Judahs ass and he is Molasses compared to judahs top speed.

    They both fast, no one really knows who is faster as there is prob videos of both with fast handspead.

    From the vids and fights i've seen, IMO pac is prob a wee bit faster. Not much between them either way.

    i don't know man, just ask manny's opponents. they all say the same thing: he is fucckin too fast!

    i have never really heard anybody that floyd destroyed and said: man, that son of a bitcch is too fast!!!

    If it's not combinations you're after, then watch the Oscar fight again. Manny's straight left that night was thing of beauty. Play the following vid, and marvel at the speed in which his left hand travels from point A to point B, especially at the 1:30 mark, when he lands two ridiculously quick left hands in a row. Amazing ****.

    Pacquiao clearly has the better speed then Mayweather. Yes Mayweather got speed but it's not as fast like Pacquiao. At first i think Mayweather wins this fight easy but now when i think about it i could see Manny win it if it's not by tko then it might be by decision cause Pacquiao throws combinations while Mayweather mostly throws 1 punch at a time.

    Not a surprise. He doesn't even know that i'm not even close to a Pacquiao fan. But i feel that Pacquiao workrate with combinations, speed and power could give Mayweather huge problems. I still pick Mayweather to win cause he's slicker and smarter but the concern about it is the ones i just mention about the stuff Pacquiao got that could win him the fight. The only way Mayweather can win is to throw way more then 1 punch at a time. <<<If Mayweather can do that he'll win it.
