Why do people say that Pacquiao is faster than Mayweather?

Pac I believe will get smacked but floyd will have to be at his ellusive best to get awy from pac punches. What ever happens it'll be 2010 fight of the year.

Pacquiao's faster at 147 I believe. Mayweather back at 130 could rival Pac for speed but now I think Pac edges it.

what makes pbf seem fast is his timing....

 

You really amazed me, then tell me who is faster and how you figure it out.

 

I see a lot of posters giving Floyd the "timing" advantage but do not see a lot of proof off this. If you watch Pac vs Hatton first KD, you will see Pac slips his right hook after hatton fires his right. In pac vs Cotto, in numerous times, Pac was timing Cotto's jab with right hooks all night. Now that's timing.

 

personally i think pac traps his opponants. he gives them cruise control till they get used to it then hits the gas when he needs it. hes combination speed is noteworthy but what really tops it off is he'll throw 1 or two punches really fast mixed in with the slower punches. usally opponants get used to the combination speed that they time that instead of the that 1 or 2 that will knock you out.

 

What facts do you have to support your statement. Also, what fighter or fighters that Pac faced with great handspeed? Name or names only please.
