Why do people slate Floyd for putting in place random drug testing??

  1. so has Mosley. but that's not the point. i'm just saying, when a professional athlete from any sport turns down an opportunity fo proving he's a clean athelete when theyre put on the spot or supposedly being falsely accused, you'd think he'd shut floyd the hell up and do it for his fans. but of course, his fans dont give two shits whether he's clean or not anyway. thats obvious.

i thought Floyd was crazy for accusing him of doping even though it seems possible based on what he's accomplished, but i still wasnt convinced. but when an athlete starts coming up with reasons not to take the test and when even his promoter and coach are as well, that seems suspect to me. but suprisingly, he didnt get the same response from fans like all of these baseball players being accused of using PEDs. it was swept under the rug and Floyd was made into the chicken and bad guy by the media.

Mosley was a part of the BIGGEST Steroid scandal in like, EVER. A scandal that was spread across most major sports. So, if PAc is on something that's urine couldn't detect, care to gander why there aren't others performing at this insane level? Or is Pac the only guy who found the good stuff?

You just don't get it. Guys do not have to prove their innocence against accusations. That's the way rubes thinks. Besides, I thought Pac looked good only because he cherrypicked tailor made old or shot guys.

  3. i could see if it were fighters like Cotto, Marquez, or Bradley asking him of this, but this is Floyd, the guy that the world wanted to see get beat by Manny. this was and still might be the biggest fight of the century. just do it and get it on.

and extra testing seems appropriate for a fight of this magnitude. it would give fans the comfort of knowing it was a clean fight. all im saying when a fighter of Pacquiaos caliber and fame rejects extra testing, dont be surprised if people think he's still on PEDs this very day. and theyre not in the wrong for thinking so.

Lance, you're so full of it. Manny's refusal of random testing is indefensible no matter how much you hate Floyd Mayweather. All Pacquiao had to do was call Floyd's "bluff" if that were the case. They BOTH were going to be subjected to the same tests. (You know this)

Turn the tables. Floyd would be lambasted for refusing a more strict drug testing protocol.

It's the timing in which he has requested it. He is at a point in his career where he can really only take mega fights, not the Brussels of the world. Anything less than a Cotto or Alvarez and his legacy will take more damage than it has.

Yet he has made it more harder for himself by bringing up this random testing bull****. I see it as a form of protection, another obstacle to throw in the way. But it is a very cunning obstacle because it has many people convinced that he is doing it for the right reasons, bla bla bla. He didn't care to bring it up for the Marquez fight, yet he did for Pacquiao. Doesn't make sense.

No he's not popular and exciting? Yeah he's exciting but he's also boring just as much as he's exciting.

And no he shouldn't retire did I say that? I'm not judging Berto(unlike Floyd and the *****s do to Pac even though he never tested positive) but when you claim to want to clean up the sport and before you ever promote a fight you already have a cheater signed to your company how can you really claim to want to keep the sport clean?

  8. by cleaning a cheater out and making him set the example. duh. it's actually a brilliant idea.

  10. If Pacquiao wants that payday. :yep

im pretty sure they will as long as the opponent agrees.

all good, people have come around. Other than *******s or PBF haters who we know don't count for **** it's hard to find a rational person who believes team pacs side these days.....Winnipeg, Canada has the 2nd highest Flip population outside of the Phillipines so I got a fair bit of pinoy friend and a lot of them who used to worship everything manny does have now gone over to #moneyteam cause even they can smell bull****

  12. it's more of people being anti-mayweather and going against everything he does no matter what. people on here couldnt possibly believe the bull**** from Manny and Arum.

Where was this demand for extra testing when he faced DLH? Certainly that fight had the magnitude that DESERVED this testing? So far, it's been hysterical girl like posters who seem to claim PAc is on something. Not taking any test OTHER then the same everyone else takes hasn't hurt him.

 Get off your high horse. Just because you lack the balls to so NO when told to jump doesn't mean everyone thinks like that. And no **** they were taking the same test. Thanks for the news flash. WHen testing is handled and requested by the appropriate parties, i.e. NOT a promoter whom the results get given to, I am all for better testing. But as it stands, USADA ONLY has to release results to their client, NOT any commission. It's not my fault you can see the weather for the rain in your eyes.

is not an anabolic steroid. Desired effect don't show up after 3 months. Manny taking HGH less than 30 days will have no bearing on the fight.

(17alpha-methyl-5alpha-androst-2-en-17beta-ol) was identified in an oily product received by our laboratory in the context of our investigations of designer steroids. The product allegedly contained an anabolic steroid not screened for in routine sport doping control urine tests. Madol was synthesized by Grignard methylation of 5alpha-androst-2-en-17-one and characterized by mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy. We developed a method for rapid screening of urine samples by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) of trimethylsilylated madol (monitoring m/z 143, 270, and 345).

In vitro incubation with human liver microsomes yielded the same metabolite. Madol is only the third steroid never commercially marketed to be found in the context of performance-enhancing drugs in sports.

(Hemoglobin-Based Oxygen Carriers)- is not a steroid and if manny uses it, it will easily be detected on the blood test he offered after the fight. For a fighter to benefit from this drug, it must be present on fight night.
