He will b ok. He knows he was fouled bcos he was taking abraham 2 skool. His performance was brilliant.
I hadn't read anyone thinking his career would be ruined. However, it is a little bit of a risky proposition. Most fighters who come back from big punches usually take a lighter schedule of opponents so they can work past any psychological glitches that may discourage mixing it up with an opponent. However, Dirrell is in this tournament for at least one more fight. The good thing for Dirrell is that Ward, though he's very good, is not a monster puncher.
Really? If so who did that? Nah Jones was ruined after losing the weight when he moved up to beat Ruiz.
If he ends up falling out of the super six ( which I think he will, I don't see him getting past Ward, which I anticipate to be an exciting fight. ), I think he should challenge Bute.. I think it's a winnable fight for him. Keep him in the mix.
I will say I think he could probably do something to improve his conditioning so we can maybe start to see stronger finishes out of him.. I see potential in Dirrell, it's all a matter of what he does with his obvious natural talent.
Hes not ruined.... Mosley sufferd 2 concussions in the forrest fight, hes doing just fine now... Hopfully dirrell will work on his balance and foot placement, ive never seen a fighter "slip" as much as dirrell
What I do find ironic is all the legit concern coming for Dirrell (which I have no problem with myself for the record, and I also hope he returns 100%) as compared to the massive amount of **** that got talked about Vitali for stepping down in the Byrd fight when he sustained a serious shoulder injury. Given the demographics involved, it's not surprising. Just funny.
