We have this discussion every time a proposed Wladimir vs X opponent discussion occurs. Every time people think this is going to be the end of Wladimir's reign and every time they are helplessly proved wrong. Wladimir has a PROVEN history and pedigree at Heavyweight. David Haye does not. Tomas Bonin - D level at best. Monte Barrett - so shot and over the hill yet still put Haye down. Valuev - I personally thought he lost; I wasn't in awe of Valuev's wobble at the end either Ruiz - The guy was on the same level as Barrett by that time Harrison - 'now' - fix.

Haye has fast foot movement and is very comfortable moving to his right (away from wlad's right) and has the powerfull looping that can catch Wlad. So I think he has a chance to rock Wlad. That's why I give him a punchers chance. He has absolutely no chance against Vitali though.
Because Haye brings almost nothing to the table to allow a win. Is he going to be able to fight on the outside? No. Is he going to be able to figth on the inside? no. Is he going to be able to hit and run like he didn't against the Jolly Giant? No. Haye's only chance is a lucky wild punch. Something he had a hard time landing on the slowest heavyweight EVER.
Fragomeni had no trouble landing. Haye is not hard to hit unless he is on the run as he was in the Valuev fight.
Wlad isn't Enzo or audley. He isn't a swarmer, he is a very cautious counter puncher. Wlad's generalship and spatial awareness has improved a lot. David just gets stuck on the end of the jab and knocked out as soon as Wlad sits on a punch. Wlad has style flaws but David Haye doesn't have the tools to expose them. He reminds me of a slower Herbie Hide.
