Why do people think Mayweather can stop Ortiz?

Ive been saying the same exact same thing , Mayweather just aint got enough pop . Victor is not going anywhere .

 

from my perspective because floyd is an excellent counter puncher, and victor delivery isn't as fast, he's going to get caught a lot, in the worst case he could be focusing on whats coming back if he throws to much, the beginning of the end at round 5.

 

He fought toe to toe with Mosley. You seem to be confusing trading punches with fighting toe to toe. They are not the same thing. He is in their face. Just because he has good defense and counters well, does not mean he is not going toe-to-toe because he actually avoids being hit. That's the name of the game, hit and don't be hit, not trade punches and see who is tougher.

He's still right there in front of the guy when he fights.
