Top ten Heavyweights aren't past prime at the age of 23. :nono Top ten Heavyweights aren't knocked the **** out by the likes of Buster Douglas. :nono Top ten heavyweights do not have their signature wins over a completely shot fat former ATG coming out of retirement and a shot light heavyweight. :nono Did You know both Ali and Frazier also had dominant wins over a great light heavyweight? Bob Foster. You probably didn't because it never gets mentioned. You know why it doesn't get mentioned? Because they also had wins over great heavyweights. :yep Tyson faced two ATG heavyweights. And they both knocked him THE **** out.

He flattened an entire division, established lineage, became youngest heavyweight champ of all time and compiled a record of 37-0 all by the age of 23. And unlike Bob Foster that other " light heavyweight " proved he could actually do something at heavyweight. He was after all the champion and had never before lost or been on the deck... Yet he lost to Tyson in 91 seconds.... That'll about do it for me... Tyson makes my top 10.. And unless we see a slew of exceptional heavys come along soon, who bump him out it's likely to stay that way

    1. Nope..Foreman didn't demolish an entire top 10 the way that Tyson did.. Liston did pretty good on the way up. But he only defeated one man in world title fights.

    2. Floyd didn't destroy a whole generation of contenders.. I mean Pete Rademnacher ?? Seriously ??

    3. Nothing controversial about the first fight.. And that washed up fighter was an undefeated ATG who was still holding the title and proved he could still fight as much as 10 years later.

    4. And let's not pretend that MOST greats were at their best when a young destroyer beat them.

    5. then let's agree to disagree

And who was the man who eventually dethroned him?

You misread my post. Floyd was the youngest Heavyweight champ.
The first fight was controversial as well.

    Fair enough.

For that short period he was a top 10 ATG. Granted his career should have been greater but mental instability and drugs were too strong a foe.

In terms of fights at the top level, his career was no shorter than Marciano's or Dempsey's.

I'll tell you one thing, atleast he didn't go down via one big shot to the face unlike a chinny girl.

Funny because Olliver McCall always handed Tyson his ass in sparring and wouldn't receive a title shot for that very same reason.

Did he knock Tyson out with one big shot to the face? Which top ten heavy weight has ever been knocked out by one big shot to the face even once?

Sorry but your chinny girl should be out of that list ideally for that reason.

Lennox Lewis was knocked out in his prime by two sub par fighters like a chinny girl, one of whom was just a sparring partner who happened to lose to buster douglas

But Lewis proved they were both flukes. Douglas beat a prime Tyson and would've beaten any version of him.
