I had it 7-5 for WIlliams. He fought the perfect fight against Margarito whereas Margarito knows where he screwed up.

Margarito will make the adjustments in the rematch which will lead to an emphatic victory for AM.:deal

He probably didn't get off on the inside because Williams was tying his ass up.

Well at least you admit you are a hypocrite.

It was a very close fight which Williams won fairly...in no way, shape, or form was it easy.

He was way below his norm because he was kept on the outside. That is exactly what I eluded to (and the numbers back it up)...Margo, struggles when kept on the outside. He is a BULL on the inside, but vs a fighter who throws as many FROM A DISTANCE as Williams did, it makes it hard to get in there without getting hit over and over.

As for him throwing one at a time...Its tough to throw more than one punch when ya got 10 coming at you (ironically we normally say that about Margo's opponenets LOL). Plus, many of those punches (the solo ones from Tony) were thrown from where? At a distance...a place where he isnt as comfortable or as good from.

With Margo...I can always see a stoppage...the man throws with big power and throws ALOT...but judging on styles and how their first fight went (Williams took some big shots and took them VERY WELL), a close, clear decision (in all all out war) for Paul is the most likely outcome.

Which is why he would need to tuck his elbows and attack the body hard. It's a bit harder to tie someone up when he keeps his arms inside.

Pavlik is not only going to embarrass the Cream of Wheat man, he is going to KO his ugly Aunt Esther looking ass back to the Liquor Store in Downtown Philly where he belongs.

Their is a difference no one was offering Margarito big fights. Mayweather is the one turning it down not Margarito so get your facts straight son.

You get yours straight son.:deal :hi:

"Arum agreed that the split with Mayweather was not on bad terms like their brief breakup last year. In fact, Arum said, "We intend to be back together. Everything with this was honorable and good. I had offered him numbers [for a multi-fight contract extension] that were livable. His expectations are in the stratosphere. He was entitled to buy me out, and he did. We decided this was the best way to handle it. He is a free agent. We have agreed to work with each other [in the future]."

""That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road." (Floyd ended up making over $20 million for Oscar, Arum is obviously upset now)

"Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million." (He was willing to fight Marg, but wanted more against Cotto and Hatton, which was justifiable. Especially with Hatton)

There you go dude. You people are idiotic with the ducking crap. Arum should have given Floyd his money and the fights you wanted would have happened.

    Blame Bob Arum.

No one is offering Paul williams big fights either, using your logic Margarito needs to accept the challenge and become the man of the division or he is ducking, right?

He was talking about Kelly Pavlik but nothing happen because Williams priced himself out. Now their are talks about him fighting Winky Wright at catch weight. Those sound like big fights to me.
