Why do people underrate Danny Williams...

The problem with Danny is you never know which version is turning up. He was just far too inconsistent.

 

Even to this day? He was in shape for Prizefighter and got flattened in the 1st round against some unknown fat guy called the 'fridge'. He is shot.

You certaintly don't underrate Danny do you. The fact is he wasn't all that god. Talk about being overweight, talk about mental issues all you like that's all part of the game and if you don't get it all right you'll never be a top class fighter. If teach a class of 30 french and they pass gcse french 1 a year for 30 years can I say I was a good french teacher?

He's not underrated if anything he's overrated, a euro level contender nothing more nothing less, nothing wrong with that. And I swear to god if you mention Mike Tyson I'll hunt you down and stab you we've been through that several times before.

 

Do you secretly suspect that danny might be your dad, you love of him seems know no bounds.

I'd love to see Williams have one last hurrah and take out Sam Sexton.
Can't see it happening unfortunately, Danny's shot to pieces and although he still has his punch, his balance is now awful so he can't land it and he's so susceptible to shots himself now that any British level fighter should stop him.

Anyway here's hoping for one more miraculous Danny Williams moment.

 

Like James Page, Teddy Reid, Richard Williams, Emanual Augustus and even Zab Judah at a higher level, its ok looking the part and been able to do classy stuff but part of been a champion is consistency at a high level. danny was very, very good- your right but he lacked a good chin and any consistency.

 

The guy is more dedicated to his dinner rather than his sport. He's done incredibly well considering this. Wins over Meehan, Tyson, Harrison, Skelton, Sportt etc make a nice record BUT rarely has ever been genuinely interested in the game.

Williams is one of the most on off fighters around. No one can predict what will happen.

 

I' a little excited about Sexton-Williams now. Sexton beats Rogan, if he beats Williams then rematches Chisora we'll have a new heavyweight hope emerge.... at least till Price destroys them

He takes a look at the opponent and if he does not fancy his chances he ****s off the performance and loses. I can not stand the guy. He could have been a decent European standard fighter but it never played out that way and Danny is to blame.
