so that this **** can finally face someone with a more than good chance of beating his ass and shutting him up.

Sorry guys this Mayweather Cotto thing just has me so pissed. Im so aggravated with the state of boxing today fighters avoiding challenges ducking fights, hype jobs milking titles in Nova Scotia!!! the only cure is Calzaghe skidding off the canvas KTFO !!! it will restore some order around here. People are out of control and believing and expressing all manner of insanity.

:yikes i dont even know where to begin....

first off... i think we can stop with the corley and torres fights already, number one... corley was FAR from a life and death fight. So i guess getting wobbled and hurt, is now life and death? LOL!

second... that fight was almost 10 fights ago... get over it. Fighters get better and improve over time, that was also a weight at which he was killing himself to get to. And least we forget someone else that got buzzed by corley... oh thats right... mayweather himself.

The torres fight was a life and death fight, but again... cotto has proven himself against bigger punchers since, and has obviously grown as a fighter and filled out at a better weight. again... that was 3 years and 6 fights ago... i think we can let go of that now.

And you have your right to your opinion... but the fact is cotto beat mosley, and mosley in the afterfight interview had no problem with the decision... because... cotto won.

and the last thing is its not ABOUT wether or not cotto would or wouldnt beat mayweather, its about mayweather being the supposed 147 REAL CHAMPION and not fighting the CLEAR SECOND BEST. cleaning out a division is what the champion is supposed to do, not his challenger. What the hell does cotto have to do to get a fight with the CHAMPION of his division?
    He beat fellow beltholder quintana
    He beat Judah
    He beat Mosley

so now he has to go through and beat guys 4, 5, 6, 7, ect?

    Thats ridicoulas....

Its about Cotto getting his shot because he earned his shot.
Its about Cotto gettings his shot because hes number 2 in a deep division
Its about Cotto getting his shot because wether YOU like it or not or can see it or not, he IS mayweathers toughest challenge. This isnt baldomir, this isnt gatti, this isnt sharmba, this isnt ndou, this isnt judah, Hatton is class but cotto's size and strength give him the edge. He has good power, good boxing skills, good jab, deceptive speed, and more importantly the will and toughness to give mayweather fits.

    mayweather corley - decision
    cotto corley - KO

    mayweather sosa - decision
    cotto sosa - KO

    mayweather judah - decision
    cotto judah - KO

make all the excuses for the opponents or mayweather that you want, and yes... differant fighters will yield differant results upon similar opponents, but its clear cotto is class, undefeated, and has fought his way into the number 2 spot by beating judah, mosley and quintana

I have no idea how or why you or anyone does NOT want to see this fight. This is what boxing is about... the champion fighting the clear challenger to his throne.

also... so if mayweather... the supposed p4p KING and the ruler at 147 isnt going to fight cotto... THEN WHO?

oh.. thats right... hatton... again... oscar... again...

who else? maybe a judah rematch? margarito??? PW???? Quintana??? Mosley???

anyone who thinks that mayweather shouldnt be fighting cotto and cotto alone is blind

Its not subjective. Anyone that isnt being totally biased knows that Shane isnt the fighter he was 6 years ago. He went from being a guy that threw fast hard combos to one shot at a time. He isnt as fast. Beatting Judah would not prove that Shane is still great, it will only prove that he beat Judah, who has lost all his major fights.

I never once said that I didnt want to see Cotto vs Floyd. I an only pointing out FACT and the FACT is that most of the people cring for this fight to happen right now are those that really REAALLY want to see Floyd lose. And if Cotto cant get it done then it will be on to the next guy....Well that would be after they drag Cotto though the mud for awhile of course.

Lastly when was the last time that Floyd fought a BUM???

Omm didnt Baldo beat the guy that your now claiming will prove that Shane is still a great fighter??

WTF, you guys cant be that blind. Its pure hate. I have yet to lose a battle when it comes to this. You guys dont really care to see COTTO fight Floyd you just want to see Floyd lose. And whatever fighter that Floyd isnt fighting is always the one that could/would beat him. It was the same thing with Oscar, then Hatton and now Cotto. It wa said that floyd was scared of Hatton so he fought Oscar, then it was he was scared of Cotto so he fought Hatton. Next it will be he is scared of Berto or Cintron so he is fought Cotto. Its the neverending story...That is until he loses a fight.

Since when does one fight make you great? And since when does defeating some headcase do that as well? What has Baldomir done since winning? Like...NOTHING? Flash in the pan. of course, maybe you rank Leon Spinks at a Top 10 All Time HW.:lol:

You can't be that stupid. Beating Judah doesn't prove Shane's greatness.

Then again, if you really think that, then you are that stupid.

Im not the one that said moron, do you read well. This other guy claimed in one post that Shane beatting Judah would prove that Shane is still a great fighter, then in his next post he called Baldo a bum, but yet he beat the guy that he said would prove that Shane is great by beatting.

Get a clue and learn to read.:hi:

Shane IS a great fighter. Baldimir hasn't done **** since winning. You're both idiots. The other guy for saying beating Judah makes him great, you for thinking you needed to argue that point. GO NUTHUGGERS!!!:thumbsup

No Shane WAS a great fighter, now he is merely a good fighter.
