Why do people want a Cotto-Mayweather fight so badly?

shane even now can beat everyone in his division.

 

He's only merely good when that's how he looks. Hes still looking like one of the division's best fighters.

 

Im not going to argue that. I do think that Shane would beat alot of welters. Not all. My point is 6 or 7 years ago he would have beat them all including Cotto and Floyd.

Prime V Prime I would take Shane over Cotto by KO, and Floyd By UD. Now he lost close to Cotto and would lose big to Floyd. That is because he is past his prime and one the verge of being shot.

in floyd's defense he did fight Judah and Baldomir(yeah he sucks) at the time i think they were top welters

Baldomir was the underdog in that fight but you are right.

I still remember people (all 9000 of them) booing and walking out on that Mayrunner stinker and Emmanuel Stewart saying an all-time great would not be content to tap and run around a slow average fighter like Baldomir and peck their way to a UD.
