Why do people watch shot fighters?

    Because I would hate to miss a shocking moment or surprise. It's boxing and anything could happen:D

    This, people always believe a shot fighter can turn back the clock one more time obviously that only applies to a certain type of fighter.

    Yeah that's a good point, maybe Toney has a style that leads many (including myself) to overrate him

    Because more often than not they were their favourite fighters when growing up.

    He needed a gift to win that fight because he came in the ring weight drained and could only fight in spurts. It was Tiberi's workrate that 'won' him the fight. Tiberi was offered a rematch but turned it down and retired.

    Going back to knockartist's point it was Toney's lack of dedication that made him go live and death with a contender level type fighter and eventually derail his career post Griffin II

    Maybe not quite shot but I like watching older fighters because they rely more on knowledge then pure athleticism, it's interesting to watch sometimes.
    Mosley had a decent scrap with Alvarez and I'm ready to see him go now. I wouldn't want to go out on a draw vs Mora, or his other recent bouts.
