Forget usyk for a second? Besides Holyfield who’s probably one of the most egregious ped users in the history of the sport, who else has successfully made the jump to HW from CW effortlessly?

Haye sucked... his biggest win game against a circus freak
Chris Byrd ? No... would get stomped anytime he stepped up against a jumbo hw
Evander Holyfield ? Do you mean Evan fields? Guys a roided freak and it’s embarssing to the sport people talk as if he wasn’t
Tyson? Never competed at cruiser to my knowledge
Qawi - KO’d the second he jumped up
Cunningham - KO’d by a guy who doesn’t even score KOs
Tony bellew- literally told Eddie Hearn to fight wilder because he wouldn’t step into the ring with him once he realized how big he was
Charr - tko’d vs all the jumbos

Besides a dirty Evan fields what other cruiser weights in modern times have done anything at HW?

Whilst I don’t think he can beat AJ and Wilder I do think he beats the rest comfortably with the exception of Ortiz who will be competitive.

Deontay Wilder is holding a HW World title.....

There's the proof that one of the best CWs in history can compete at HW in this era.

And that's that. From Ali to Foreman to Marciano to Liston to Frazier to Louis or to Holyfield to Tyson, these icons weighed between 190 and 220 lbs in their absolute primes, with a rough average of 205 lbs.

I bet Usyk weighs 210-215 in cruiserweight fights stepping into the ring, he adds a mere 10-15 lbs (no biggie at that size) and he's like 225-230. That perfect for a HW in any era and comfortably more than what Wilder weights.

Besides a lot of the greatest old timer heavies, Patterson, Langford, Charles, Tunney, Sharkey, Johnson, Marciano and even Frazier were basically Cruisers or LHW's, don't forget that modern time LHW's and Cruisers besides Haye and Holyfield made great waves at HW. Spinks and Moorer for example, who clearly were smaller as Usyk is today

    Ortiz hadn't either.....

But that didn't stop him being labelled as some 'Monster', that some even compare to Klitschko/Povetkin and levels above the likes of Whyte/Chisora/Parker

Also, Usyk is bigger than Povetkin isn't he?

Povetkin/Ortiz/Whyte types are basically CWs who are either not professional enough to get into CW shape, or just realise that HW is where they will get paid.

If Callum Smith at 191 can make SMW.....
Luis Ortiz at 190 should be able to make CW.

It's got nothing to do with stats and history and everything to do with the human condition..

    We like to hype
    We like to blindly believe
We like to have hero's and saviours

Blind emotions not kept in check by rational thought.

Usyk just like Hughie Fury will be hyped to death till he faces AJ

It's no time about the weight it's about his height that will give usyk problems against the top HW as they are around 6'7-6'9

There's plenty of historical evidence that 15-16 st guys can compete in the heavyweight division.

The only doubt I Have is that most of those guys didn't have to get in the ring with 18st 6ft 8 athletically conditioned opponents. Outside of Joshua and maybe Fury, I think Usyk could easily compete. He looked bigger than Bellew and better defined so it's not a stretch for him to put on a bit more weight without compromising his natural abilities.

    That's so silly.

Dillian is a Heavy weight, it's not just height... it's bone size, frame size, power...

My friend is same height as me, I'm medium build naturally ecotmorph... he is large build naturally endomorph...

He outweighs me by 70 pounds... but he ain't fat and I ain't skinny.

    Stop chatting **** man.

Not every heavy has to be 6 foot 6 and above.
