Why do ppl think usyk can jump to Hw so effortlessly? What historical proof is there?

I mean, one can convince themselves of anything if they want. But the fact remains that 6'4+, 225 pound plus hw's (AKA SHWs) were very uncommon at the higher levels pre 1980. Now they are the norm. And all three top HWs in Fury, Wilder and AJ are over 6'4 and usually at or above 225.

Sure Haye can beat Valuev. There are a lot of smaller HWs who have beaten larger hws. But how many HWs have dominated a division when they have been both A. Smaller than average and B reliant on movement instead of on power? None, really. But there have been a number of HWs who are either larger than average or harder hitting than average who have done so.

That's an extremely strong data point in favor of someone with Usyks skillset being unlikely to dominate at this level. We'll see.

We'll put. And I'd pick Usyk against all but the bottom 3.

HW division right now is not that strong. The 2 kings Wilder and Joshua have very basic technique and Usyk thinks he can beat them.

He had Ali Bashir as his trainer, he taught him to evade in and out and attack at angles without getting hit. He also has Klitschko helping him out. Is this enough ? Maybe to out point most but the end goal is to defeat Joshua and Usyk does not carry Hw power hes an accumulation puncher .

I don't believe Bashir favored him over Joshua ,he does with Parker and wilder so Bashir rates him highly and hes usually on point, i would wait and see how he fights a seasoned top guy, i really wouldn't put to much into the 2013 Joyce fight where Joyce had zero defense, hes grown smart since winning or being robbed of Olympic gold.

I would still stay at my point that in this era a HW punch is going to take you further then having to out box someone for every second. We'll see bc there isn't height divisions theres weight divisions ,he will be outsized ,he will be using speed to win but hes at a disadvantage in the current era,he needs to be spot on with limited mistakes.

Oh really? You do? No, you don't, because you're about as confrontational as you could be with me, and where have I ever said that Usyk walks over AJ or Wilder easily? I haven't, I've never given a detailed assessment of how I think the fights will play out, and how Usyk will beat them, only that I think Usyk will beat them, will it be a walk in the park, hell no, he'll have to do the most masterful tightrope walk possible, but I think he's more than capable of giving such a performance. Even when it comes to his power, he has more than enough pop to keep guys at bay, its probably in the vicinity of Parker's or Fury's. But when he chooses to sit down on his punches, he can hurt anyone, precisely due to how precise he punches, like with Lomachenko, he has excellent punch placement, and if you catch anyone on the button and have a degree of power, it can either KO them cold, or hurt them repeatedly, forcing them into a defensive posture, making them a little more unwilling to take risks, like with Parker and AJ. So yeah.... Usyk moves very well, is a southpaw, has excellent defense against far craftier and faster opponents than AJ, punches hard enough to keep you at bay, which will give AJ a lot of problems for the first 8, and then after he's done a number on him from rounds 1-8, he'll start sitting down on his shots and punish AJ to the bell, or until he falls.

That being said, the way you're going about your whole down with Usyk act, reeks of fear and insecurity.

Wilder's power is overrated, also his right hand is damaged goods/cracked.

The same Bakole who gave AJ very tough spars (sparred at least 80 rounds with him), made Dubois quit, and gave Tyson, Hughie and Gorman among others really good work too.

    Bazza McGuigan

“He’s (Bakole) been up sparring with Joshua, he’s been the main sparring partner for the Povetkin fight.

“I’ve watched him sparring AJ, he really handles himself very well.

Richie Woodhall also witnessed those sparring sessions confirmed that Bakole did really well

No way Usyk can compete with 320 Miller outweighing him by 100 pounds. Im willing to entertain the idea Wilder could hang due to his power, but Usyk, no way. Miller eats him for breakfast.

I have Fear and insecurity? But I love and praise Usyk?... He is the brother I wish I had in my life. I love his off key sense of humour. He is so talented.

Anyways... based on everything you wrote.. you completely disregarded everything that would be coming Usyks way as he makes all those masterful moves of his up till round 8 and beyond. Lol how could you make such a school boy error? And this is the problem I have with you!

You can't be objective enough to detail what AJ or Whyte would be hitting back with... we know Usyk can get caught EASILY.. he was caught by bellew a lot, and lost a few rounds... Whyte or AJ landing is going to do a whole lot more.

Contrary to popular belief... Whyte has a lot more than just he's left hook... he's a body shot artist... and can take a punch...

Usyk has been susceptible to body shots in the passed...

When you run a simulation on a machine you include ALL the possible variables. You CST80 conveniently ignore the variables you don't like to talk about... like what Dillian and AJ bring to the table in every exchange.

And it is beyond me how you can measure Usyk's power to be in the Parker range... you must have a built in visual boxing meter installed? Where do you get these estimations from man??? Seriously... why am I going to spend 1750 euros on a state of the art boxing power meter from PowerKube when I can just record myself and you give me the numbers.

Me confrontational with you? You're a little sensitive mate... I've been as civil as I can possibly be... I haven't even tried to be confrontational with you.

If the heavyweight division was littered with top contenders I would perhaps question the jump, but honestly, the division is filled with overweight “athletes”. Big punchers? Sure. But many lack true discipline. Perhaps he’ll struggle to dethrone Joshua and Wilder, but I reckon his skills would see him pick up wins against a lot of the contenders.
