Why do Puerto Rican fighters seem to have Glass Jaws?

  1. Tito Trinidad and Juanma Lopez. What do they both have in common? Well for one, they are both Puerto Rican. And secondly they also appear to have Fragile Glass Mandibles.:patsch

I read a research study into Puerto Rican eating habits and apparently there is a chronic lack of calcium and vitamin d in the Puerto Rican diet, leading to the onset of localised osteoporosis in and around the maxilla-mandible region.

The study was undertaken by a professor in Lichtenstein, if memory serves.

  12. As Per Dr. Jenk Johannes, the famed geneticist and author, Taino's unlike Aztecs for example, have normal sized heads and normal skull thickness. He suggests that the early exposure to lead poisoning in countries like Mexico, in many of their candies and home remedies "remedios" causes the children in Mexico to become what he describes as "dense" in every way. "This inability to process pain as a direct result of the lead affecting the brain, coupled with the thick Aztec skull, " creates what Dr. Johannes refers to as the "Aztec Skull Helmet" and he goes on to suggest this physical genetic abnormality, provides a distinct advantage in contact sports. He also suggests that a "bitterness and tragedy too, play an important role in the Mexican's desire to win in the ring when winning outside of the ring, in most cases is just not possible.
