every other boxing rankings system has him at 2 behind pacman but ring mag still have him at no 3.
that is bull**** and who ever works out the rankings at ring mag needs sacking.
calzaghe is clearly no 2 and deserves to be no1 if pacman loses to dlh.

    WRONG

I like Calzaghe a lot, but JMM beating Casa > Joe beating RJJ, easily.

When Pac loses to DLH it won't change a thing, either

    :hi:

alot of people think JMM is better than Calzaghe. Beating Roy hasn't really affected that.

Also, Ring didn't like the Marquez-Pac II decision. May be a factor, I don't know.

I have him at number 1.

However, if I did have him at three before the Jones fight, I would not move him up on that account.

Any more than I'd move Pac down if he loses to Oscar.

Calzaghe was at no 2 for a while, but JMM overtook him a couple of months ago after his win over Casamayor, which I thought was fair enough, Casa was the lineal lightweight champ, and had never been stopped before. A win over Roy Jones doesn't do much for Calzaghes credentials in 2008.

I didn't like the Pac vs Marquez decision either - though it wasn't as bad as the first fight!

    JMM 114-111 Pac (First fight)
    JMM 114-113 Pac (Second fight)

    IMO!

the fashion in which he beat rjj must count for something.
and alot of people think if pac loses to dlh it should not affect his rankings yet if he wins alot say he should rank above pbf on returning.
you can not give him perks if not willing to take responsibilities for the loss.
pac chose this fight and should face the consiquences on losing.

I think the fashion in which Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver beat Roy was a lot more impressive. :deal
