    the full undercard

this is one thing that really bothers me and my mates, first of id like to say i think setanta do a great job and i take my hat off to them they do a better job than sky ever did

but for instance last weekend there were some fights i wanted to see and only got to see luevano dib, and on the mosley mayorga bill we missed out on the collazo fight

does this bother anyone else and buncey if your reading can you shed some light on this matter :good

From what I read over in the General Forum the Rubio-Ornelas fight (on the Hop-Pav under-bill) was a very good fight, with a slightly dodgy verdict at the end. Wish we could have caught that.

Full match highlights of ManU-WB could have been shelved, or at least condensed.

I would rather see one or two decent undercard fights rather than the five or six that you generally get on Sky - most of which are awful.

    As Buncey says.....

    No more bums!

I am sick of the likes of Delroy Spencer, Billy Smith, Peter Buckley and others being given fights against young prospects when all they do is put their earmuffs on an run....

Surely a 10-0 prospect should be matched against another - rather than padding both and seeing them get brutally exposed at a higher level because they spent too much time padding instead of learning.

    Quality not quantity :deal

Often the undercard is NOT sent to us. Or, parts of the TV broadcast start 20 minutes early!

    Adios.

I beg to differ there, although to be fair the sport now a days is not what it once was, even in the 90s.

To be fair they're not gonna show the full undercard are they really, no one does (major tv channels) i think they do pretty well in picking a few decent undercard fights. Remember these channels aren't just dedicated to boxing, would be nice wouldn't it though

They can easily put their Portuguese Football for the night under the red button.

SKY would start at 2100 with a British Bill and go to the USA fir the big show in a 10 hour boxing blitz.....

And is it not about time Setanta had a HD Channel? Hell the England game was not even on wide-screen!

Sky would only do that for big fights (usually involving big british stars). It would be good if setanta did that for big fights though I agree.

One thing we are missing is Setanta dont film themselves they get the feed from HBO etc, do they show all the undercard??

HBO show more undercard fights than Setanta, I usually watch the undercard on a stream until Setanta "catch up".

I agree with the HD comment, HBO broadcast those fights in HD its about time Setanta got a HD channel.

Has anyone watched setanta via freeview?, on the website it says it broadcasts from midday to 3 am but this may be extended occasionally. Do they usually extend it for the boxing?

Considering purchasing it being as there is numerous big fights coming up but if its not extended not much point.
