Why do so few think haye will beat wlad?.

Any HW who gets hgit square on the jaw by a 230+ lb fighter is going down. Wvlads loss to Sanders was legit. Peter kept hitting him on the back of his head. Wvlad was destroying Brewster until he mysteriously fell ill, and he demolished Brewster in the rematch.

One could say the same about Lewis. all he has was height and a jab. Lewis lost to a journeyman, Rahman, and got KOed by him. Is Lewis a chump?

Haye got knocked down by Barrett who doesn't even have a decent fist. Haye has not beaten anyone big. There is no comparison.

Haye has a punchers chance - that is it - and 95% of the HW's out there have that.

 

Size is a huge factor in this matchup. Wlad uses his size advantage very well since Steward came on. He fights boring but safe fights because he softens the guy up so much before engaging.

IMO, Haye has no answer for the size advantage. The "jab and grab" will work on him just like it did against other opponets that had to get inside on Wlad in order to make a fight of it. Dealing with that will leave him susceptible to that hook off the jab that Wlad mixes in. That is a KO punch that people overlook too often.

I must say that if Haye were to get Wlad in trouble, I believe he has the ability to close the show unlike some past opponents. But Wlad (and Manny) will be ready to win this fight and I think they will inside the distance.

Why do you think Haye will beat Wlad?

Wlad has won his first heavyweight title in his 19th fight in 1998. He lost that and recovered it in 1999 adding the EBU title. 2000 he won the WBC Intercontinental HW title and the WBO HW title. Again he lost that but won the NABF and NABO HW titles in 2005. In 2006 he got the IBF HW title. In 2008 he recovered the WBO HW title which he is now holding up to present. He has two titles now

. . . now Hayes is coming up in weight and has only fought Monte Barret who was already beaten by Lance whitaker in 1999; Wlad in 2000; Joe Mesi in 2003; Rahman in 2006; Valuev in 2006 and Cliff Couser in 2007.

Does Hayes beating Barret shows any indications and justifies that he will beat WLAD??? :deal

Haye is the SAVIOR OF THE DIVISION.

Haye will come into the fight, and Wladimir is already horribly scared. Because he is a ***** of course, he got knocked out twice by two huge punchers 4 and 6 years ago. That means everything he has done since is bull****.


And Haye will throw punches with blazing speed, and Wlad will be hit by all of them, and Wladimirs size, height, strength, reach, footwork, ring intelligence, experience, power, jab, counter punching, and technical boxing skills WILL ALL BE WORTHLESS!

Wlad will hold his arms at his side and not throw a single jab nor use the ring nor use footwork or ring generalship or ANYTHING.


He will be so confused by the unholy brilliance that is David Haye, the incredible phenom of telegraphed punches!

Non existant defense! Lunging with everything he throws! Tiring by the 5th round!

Being confused by jabs! Having been knocked down by former LHWs!

Having fought one HW fight against a journeyman but still being better than EVERY opponent Wladimir has ever faced!

Who could handle such a scion of boxing?

And Wladimir will get KOed with the first flush shot and then quit obviously, because he is a quitter.

And then Haye will do the same thing to Vitali, but in 3 rounds instead of just 1.


And all the Haye fans will dance around a maypole and sing songs and probably have an orgy just for good measure.

 

No surpise either way, They are HW's I expect a K.O.
Just would be better if say "Haye" lands first.

 

I still like Haye's chances. The only weakness to his game is his chin. Wlad is knockable as well. But, I feel like Haye's speed will be the denominator to this fight. If Wlad can deal with that, he will win.

 

Spare me from your HYPING Mex . . . I have nothing against Haye. I'm just looking at this objectively . . . if he beats Wlad . . . then he'll get his due . . . but until then he'll remain just a HYPE fighter for me.

. . . and he and his fans haven't earned a bragging rights at HW yet.

 

To tell you the truth, all I see are the Klitschko fans trying to defend their guy, after hearing all you Haye lovers salivating allover this forum, and disrespecting the champion today.

Its funny and sad how the Haye fans are even trying to emulate their hero, talking like him and acting like him. Weird stuff to see and read.

Klitschko fans know that a championship fight is never easy, (because they've been in a bunch of them already), and they believe that their fighter will come through again.

Its you Haye fans that don't have a humble thing or bone about you. And those type of people ALWAYS eventually get humbled.

Im actually watching the Haye-Barret fight right now. . . .

People honestly believe this guy is gonna knock Wladimir out?

Barret is stronger than Haye in the clinches

Barret took a number of Hayes power shots before he got TKO'ed, and Wladimir has a better chin that Barret

Barret hurt Haye himself in the 3rd round

Haye threw himself off balance numerous times throughout the fight

What is it you are all seeing that makes Haye this incredible fighter that will beat Wlad?

Because Im not ****ing seeing it. Haye at HW is all hype. Barret didnt even look good in this fight to begin with. And he still gave Haye a fight.

 

Wlad - Haye will look a lot like Wlad - Iggy.

Similarities - Iddy and Haye are lean back counter-punchers.

Differences - Haye is faster with more power but has a lighter chin and is not a southpaw.

Keys - Check left hook that Wlad used all night on Iggy every time Iggy tried to shoot for the body. Shots that wobbled Iggy will likely drop Haye(not because he's worse but because he's a bit more reckless and tends to put more of himself into the punch).
Clinching will also have a role, WK and Haye are both physically very strong but Haye is more speed and power while WK makes a living off his clinches plus he's taller and heavier.

If Haye changes his core style to be more aggressive and come-forward then he will be hit easier and find that WK has little trouble timing him and counter punching.

Don't get me wrong this WILL be a good fight!

 

People like RUSKULL and Window pick Wlad out of blind ignorance-they have hardly seen Haye fight.They've seen him 2-3 times max.Blind ignorance and nuthugging is the answer
