What I found amazing is the ease with which Monte found David's head with that short weak Jab. If Monte wasn't so overaggressive he could have made more of it.

Im amazed at how Haye supposedly has one punch KO power, yet it still took 5 knockdowns and about 20 power shots to stop Barret, who has never even been known for having a great chin and whose losses have all been by KO or TKO.

Wladimir is gonna handle his punches just fine. Brewster and Sanders both had more power than Haye does.

If Wlad "boxes scared he gets KO....If he fights angry he has a chance, roughly 10%

Iggy is clueless. Wlad was slapping his jab all night and Iggy didn't counter back with his left. That won't work with Haye. If he does that with David, the Hayemaker will end it.

How much better was Monte then?

Wladimir dominated every round of the fight against Barret, and looked much more polished than Haye did.

Haye I thought just looked sloppy. Reflex fighter with fast hands, and way too in love with his power.

Haye is not proven at HW. Going off the Barret fight he does not look like the man to beat Wlad.

    Hype and nothing more.

With what? A lunging 1-2 that Wlad can see coming and will have already prepared for in camp?

Cue Wlads left hook and straight right down the pipe.

    Wlad ends it

Heres to one of the most boring HW fights in history:-:)-:)-(

If Wlad paws that jab vs Haye and doesn't snap it like he did vs Rahman Haye will get inside too easily and Wladimir will be KO'd

You ignore the fact that Haye has prepared for Wlads robotic jab and right hand/left hook.:-:)-:)-(

Haye was sloppy I agree-too eager IMO.Wanted to impress a little too much I think

He is a lot better than the Barrett performance-you should look past that, look at his previous accomplishments. He is proven

Win or lose,he is not hype.Undisputed champions are not hype

This is the same Wlad who got knocked down 3 times against fat ass Peter. The same Wlad who got creamed by Brewster. What makes u think Haye can't cream him as well?

His fights at Cruiseweight are against smaller opponents than himself, none of whom measure up to Wlad in skillset.

It doesnt offer a complete comparison.

Much like Holyfield when he moved up to HW, yes he was excellent at CW, but it was hard to say how well he would do at HW. Holyfield though was much more skilled than Haye was, he was the total package as a fighter.

Haye even at CW showed flaws, but his power at the weight combined with his speed and and reflexes and him being bigger than his opponents, he won his fights and won them well.

At HW he is average sized, with fast and a fairly decent punch. Barret is the only measuring stick at HW.

I think he should have taken another fight at HW.

As of right now, he is being overhyped and I think is just another victim in the long line "Wlad is gonna beat beat by (insert name), because they have this this and this."

    All those people lost

Iggy is not clueless, he's a smart fighter but spent most of his career as a come-forward brawler, newly under a Mayweather as trainer he wasn't 100% in the counter-punching style yet - granted he was out of his league. but the formula doesn't change, Iggy still had fast hands and feet, and Haye doesn't have the advantage of being a southpaw but WK found him with the check-left-hook all night long, every single time Iggy came forward he got popped in the face. Now go watch Haye-Barrett - Haye was getting hit with jabs and check hooks all night, now imagine they have Wlad's power behind them.
Haye has good head movement and very fast feet but I saw him freeze flat-footed numerous times Monte threw the jab, what's going to happen when Wlad lands his?

David's best bet is to try and catch WK off balance like DeV Williamson did, but a few fights later Iggy tried the same thing and failed every single time (which by the way is why the fight stunk)

Really though, who was going to beat Wlad??Brock,Peter???Seriously,Haye is proven(albeit at CW)but people here think he is a joke because they've never seen him fight.Thats the truth. He may be getting overhyped but either way he is still a world class boxer
