more then any other fighter. prime roy loved it when fighters would come to him. truth be told RJJ at 168lbs was a monstrous puncher and benn would have got the same treatment as Bryant Brannon

Did you just compared Nigel Benn to Bryant Brannon?

You see the McClellan fight? It takes a lot to stop Benn for a start, Benn is also a huge puncher and takes risks to land them, Roy did get hit when he was prime just not hard enough or flush enough to shatter that glass.

    I didn't think they did.

My own view...........Benn's low bobbing style would of given Jones issues landing consistently early on, but in mid rounds I anticipate Jones would have his timing down and be knocking him out.

Jones had much better legs back then, he did not languish on the ropes as much as he did post Tarver.

Gonzalez was a big guy who applied pressure, Jones handled his pressure okay.

Benn was only shakey at 160 , at 168 he would have hunted Jones down.

& The same can be said for Jones, He never faced a fighter like Benn.

It's all opinion bro, Whoever you like would have won.

On the other hand he could always be maneuvered onto the ropes, he had very fast feet but I don't think he had particularly good footwork in the positioning sense (although he was excellent at controlling distance).

I'm just playing devil's advocate, I'd make him the favourite against Benn but it wouldn't be a formality. Benn would have been one of the four or five best opponents he ever faced and certainly the most relentless.

Would have Malinga or Paz got past the G Man?

Paz was 5 7 and way past it.

    Malinga a stationery target.

Benn , I am not saying would have won , but was way ahead of these and he would have definately tested jones's whiskers.
