Why Do So Many Discredit Paul Williams

Unfortunately this type of thread has become the norm here.

If it's not "Everybody said...." then it's "The same people who said this claim that...".

droppin the knowledge but i believe that going up against a verhungry Sergio Mora would be detramental to young PW because then he will be exposed by a true hybrid boxer who out smart him with his constant shifting herky jerk motions ...but awesome take!

 

he is so fundamentally flawed.

he will always have problems with slick south paws . just go back to the mitchell fight and you will see what im talking about mitchell was landing way to much with shots he should of never landed.

Williams took the first step in improving by sitting down and using his jab as a jab and not a flicker. and catching guy at the end of his punches and not smothering his punches some one like Steward , roach , or pat burns would do him good. if he's consistant then he will be a formidable force. i do have to say this though he did catch Qiuntanna cold . but thats not his fault so i give him all the credit.

He didn't say they were ALL WW's BTW.

 

Santos is one of the guys Margo loss to. And the fight was at 154.

 

the results were no question but mitchell caught him with some heat and eve stunned him once was also able to land shots he had no business landing had PW used his height . he also could of ended it much earlier like in 2or 3 had he sat down on his punches.

he wore out mitchell he didn't knock him cold. look at the entire 5 round and you will see the holes and the signs that pointed to him having trouble with that style and how the risk would increase the bigger and more powerfulll the fighter got.if he didn't make the adjustments. which is why i picked him to lose the rematch with CQ. but he made the right adjustments and got the KO in 1:good

if he continues then he will be WEll off he he regresses then you can chalk up another L if he fights that style again:good

 

Hey I'm one of those who was saying that Margarito started slow against Williams . . . but that not getting anything away from William's win and to discredit him. What I'm saying is just an honest opinion.

And don't complain about people discreditting Williams . . . fact is . . . there are a lot more people trying to pull down Margarito than Williams.

Count how many insulting threads against Margarito are up and active in this forum rightow and you'll get a factual assesment.
