I personally think that Quintana is that type of guy that creeps up on up and coming fighter and will catch many by surprise throughout his career. He did it to Julio and I seen it coming with Williams the first time around. Williams did the damn thing in the second fight ... Quintana was caught off guard with that punch but no matter what - Williams was going to turn on the heat and probably knock him out within 5 rounds.
Not Exactly... Margo will knock him out if he only starts earlier! He didn't hear the bell ring at the beginning of round 1, so he had a slow start! He didn't hear it at the beginning of rounds 2-6 either... :rofl
i dont think margo starts late, i think it takes about 4 to 5 rds for him to wear the guy down and catch up to them.but he will always have problems with guys he cant out muscle and wear down alla clottey and williams.those guys can stand up to him for 12 rds and beat him on points.for the smaller ww its wrap unless you are a cardio beast and can box 12 rds with that man.
Keep reaching...DLH will not fight Margo. Vargas wasn't even likeable and he stole half of DLH's fanbase for that fight...the anti-preppy ass mexicans are always looking for an alternative to Oscar. Margo is a likeable guy...not having the full support of the Mexican people at this point in Oscar's career will hurt his vanity too much.
Team Hoya has already said that they aren't fighting Margo. They even remarked that Margo should focus on beating Williams instead of going after Oscar. All their attention is focused on Pac. Margo will not land the Hoya fight. The offer from Goosen will still be good once Hoya officially announces that he's fighting Pac.
Paul just has to keep winning and even then there will be "nan-sayers". Even the one where they say "he's not a natural WW" and the "it's cheating that he is that big and fighting at 147" if Paul continues to win he will earn respect but he'll never be completely out of the woods with regards to critics.....they are everywhere and they'll always be around.
It's not jsut the boxers you've mentioned but ALL boxers who are at the top or Near the top of their repsective divisions. Marg is getting a bunch of **** now.....so was cotto and so is Paul. It comes with the territory and they'll always have critics...both vaild and not so much.
Dude is funny...paragraphs and paragraphs, with your whole case based on DLH. He will not fight Margo. Keep believing if it makes you feel better.
When he finally gets pressured into fighting Williams again, he should really focus on him instead of worrying about Oscar and Floyd. If he gets owned by Williams, he can forget any more of this new-found superstar ****! He is dangerously allowing Paul to gain the Psychological advantage of feeling ducked, ignored, and disrespected. Paul will be ready. Will Margarito?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgliGo7p6Tk WATCH THIS VIDEO! THIS WOULD HAPPEN TO P-DUBB IF HE FACES THE SNAKE!
I don't see how Quintana was lazy in the 2nd fight. I think Williams was more pissed the second time around and didn't want the fight to go to the scorecards.
Right now, Williams just wants to prove himself. Margo was considered boxing's most feared man, he went after him. Now Margo is being touted as the division's best fighter and he wants a piece of him. Williams is a fighter, not a businessman. If team Margo wants to take the businessman approach, that's perfectly fine. However, there's no need to take shots at Williams for wanting to fight Margo now. That's the type of attitude that should be applauded. While team Margo is taking the businessman rout, they should expect criticism. Arum and Margo had no problems taking numerous shots at Floyd when he did the same thing to Margo.
