If he won he would have better leverage in negotciations with Cotto. He lost and his reluctance to fight Paul was confirmed, he knew he couldn't beat him.

How in the hell can Clottey and Mosley leap frog Paul Williams and you not think Margarito is ducking him?

 

Clottey is a top rank fighter with Margarito's belt, Mosley is a bigger name, and Williams has to wait. :good

Mosley is not going to fight Margarito because he is about to fight Mayorga, what is Antonio going to do for the rest of the year? Clottey is hurt that fight probably won't be able to go off this year, also what does it matter if he collects another belt, he still won't be WW champion.

 

Every boxer is going to have ppl saying negative things about them. Thats just how it is. I think Paul should fight Quintana again so they can settle the score and so he can prove that Quintana is not on his level & silence all the critics.

 

He is waiting for Mosley after the Mayorga fight. Clottey injury aint that serious and is expected to fight by the end of the year. If he gets another belt he should get the ring IMO.
