Why do so many K2 opponents complain about negotiations?

This has happened yet again, this time with Solis:

"The offer we got from the Klitschko side are not what we have been expecting. In addition they don’t want to comply to any of our requests. We have made a counter offer but so far they didn’t respond to that. So I guess we’ll have to go to purse bid", says Solis’ promoter Ahmet Oner"

Again, we hear a story about bull**** offers and unfair negotiation. I'm sure a few if these fighters have been stubborn themselves bit the regularity of issues that have arisen since Vitali's return is alarming. As corrupt as Top Rank, King etc., are, I can't name one promotional company who has had the accusations of unfair negotiations as K2 - Yet they only promote two fighters!

It's ridiculous. There's obviously something going on. There's a limit to how often an opponent can be called greedy or scared.

because they all want to get as much as they can before they get KO'd

They know fighting a brother is the biggest payday out there.. so they try to push for as much as possible

It's a mystery only the Hardy Boys can solve.

so let it go to purse bid if the offer is so bad...... I promise you, team solis will not offer more.... easy to sit back and demand.... another thing to put your cash where your mouth is and win the purse bid

Yeah, they are absolute ball-busters. I think if they were just one guy, they'd be the same as histories other tough negotiators, guys like Sugar Ray Robinson and Larry Holmes, but there is two of them, so it's a ****ing nightmare.

I think Don King is behind all this, my guess that he wants a purse bid, outbid the Klitschkos and stage it in the US under his judges. Öner is his errand boy IMO, and it's a smart tactic playing the negotiations card. But in reality the Klitschkos pay the biggest money and some soon-to-be-brutalized opponents only complain because their 7-figure payday is like the tenth of what the brothers make.

But they are the legitimate champions, they have connections with 120+ TV stations over the world, they draw the huge ratings, they sell out stadiums and they bring all the sponsors and advertisement.

    Deal with it.

Ahmet Oner is a ****ing criminal. Honestly, after what he did to Danny Williams, I'm surprised he's allowed to be even NEAR a boxing ring again.

    A ****ing crook.

Yeah, Oner's a crook but Klit fans can't keep denying that their guys are really tough negotiators. It's a monopoly on the HW decisions and the Klits control everything. Market failure!

Has the offer to Solis been more than the 25% of a large purse bid from K2 he will get??? No so shut the **** up.

Its the the first time an opponent has complained about your employer.

Yeah, I really despise Oner but that said, something is seriously wrong here. Far too many Klitschko opponents are talking about tough negotiations and unfair offers. We are all happy to call Arum, King etc., thieves but far, far less opponents have troubles negotiating with their fighters. The difference between K2 and the shadiest promotion out there, is ****ing huge.

It's pretty interesting to hear how Shannon Briggs went out of his way to talk about how good the klitschko's were with him. Nothing to do with the way he slandered them for a long time, about how they offer **** deals, I'm sure...

Not so easy if you're not the one with the all cash though is it?

... and I think the brothers know that!

Didn't you make a post a while ago, about all the fighters who have complained about K2 in recent years? I can't remember who it was. That's a pretty big list and it's growing.

When Haye said that he and Vitali sat down and negotiated a deal, which they shook hands on, and the next day, he was emailed a completely different offer, people called him a coward. I genuinely think he was telling the truth, 100%.

big deal, Solis and all K2 apponents get a huge amount of money. They are the champs, 25 percent is fine.

if you want the fight, you take it. Haye was probably getting atleast 200,000 pounds.
