Like everyone else, I don't know, but with so many fighters complaining about the Klitschko's negotitating methods, it certainly indicates that they are "ball busters". I don't care to see either of them fight anyway. Borderline unwatchable, truth be told.
Here is the reason that people complain about the Klit contracts: they know that it is likely to be the last big payday they ever get. When you are facing a certain, humiliating defeat, one that will possibly end your career or your prospects of earning decent money - wouldn't you whine and ***** about not being paid enough? Sure, they are getting paid well enough as mandatories or voluntary challengers - in the normal scheme of things. But they aren't getting paid well enough to face a Klit. They need double the money to face that kind of challenge.
I think Vitali's recent fights have been just awful. The lack of effort on both sides, the lack of anything spectacular, the atrocious crowd...everything about his last few bouts has been terrible.
You truely are a diabolical poster. Tua, Toney, Dimitrenko, Adamek, Mormeck, Haye, Povetkin, Valuev, Chisora, Solis, Byrd and Lewis all complaining. Here's another reality check for you, Toney earned $2.8 million vs Rahman and $1.1 million for the eliminator vs Peter yet somehow $1.5 million for a title shot vs Wlad is fair? Tua earned $500k vs SHANE CAMERON and somehow a $400k offer from Klitschko is fair? Tell me is your thought process consistant, for example when Klitschko walked away from Maskaev having A) Said he was going to sign the contract and B) Walking away saying he didn't have enough prep time considering he had 8 weeks to prepare added to the weeks of negotiations that proceeded the final walk away?
Bernd Bönte, Managing Director of the Klitschko Management Group GmbH has commented on statements released earlier today by the Odlanier Solis Camp regarding negotiations for WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko’s mandatory defense against Solis. “I can tell you that the only issue [Ahmet] Öner has in the negotiations so far are tax issues,” stated Bönte. “Regarding the matchmaking of the fight between Luan Krasniqi and Jonathon Banks, I can only answer that Jonathon is #6 of the WBC ranking and has so far only lost to Tomasz Adamek. And Luan is a former European champion and has fought for the world title against Brewster. “I also don’t know how Öner rates his own matchmaking for Felix Sturm. Sturm’s next title challenger is Ronald Hearns who has never fought anybody and is not even ranked up until today. Hearns is #58 of the independent ranking!”
You can say that all you want, but given this whole thread? You can **** yourself. Facts are facts. Chisora was given the chance of a lifetime, and still ******** Brits whinged about it. Haye has been offered 50/50 no options. Still ******** Brits whinged about it. You know Brits have a reputation as being the biggest whingers in the world? The term "whining pom" is a cliche. Given the sheer ****ing stupidity you clowns spew forth onto this forum every ****ing day - then to call me a bad poster? **** yourself and die, ****. Welcome to my ignore list.
I'm Scottish, I'm not going to risk giving you too much credit so I'll inform you. Being Scottish I'm not directly connected with English sports stars, I don't have a great emotional investment. You didn't address my points because you couldn't, you're not capable, so "****ing idiot" and "welcome to my ignore list" was all you could do, this debate is above you, out of reach of your tiny mind, ignored.... I'm gutted. Someone quote this please so the clueless 'ill equipped for debate' child reads it.:good
They all whinge about their low pay and claim that they will ko them etc... then get dominated , maybe they should be paid on how they perform and not how they talk themselves up, but I am sure that they will whinge about that too.
Given that their mandatories would rather go back to the amateurs than to fight them, and that they have to offer 50/50 to nobodies just to get them to even consider fighting... I guess it is fair that the challengers should at least get something for having the balls to get into the ring. Although it is a new and strange era for the sport when challengers will avoid fighting the champ at any lengths, or at least try to ensure they have retirement money if they do fight. What a shameful era we live in indeed, where fighters don't have the self belief to think that they can become the champions and therefore have the right to the big paydays. I can't imagine the painful shame of being a Povetkin or a Haye fan.
They complain because they know what the rate of pay should be. Again, you don't think other promoters are trying to short change other fighters? You don't think Arum is? So tell me one promoter who has as many complaints about tough negotiations as K2. I won't even ask for proportionately because as K2 only have two fighters, it should be easy to find one shady promoter out there, right?
At least they could put up a good fight so poeple will want to see a rematch, then they can ask for more. You are right once they get dominated then ko'd, they can only go down and nobody will pay to watch them again.
Solis refused a fight with Vitali already, holding out for a mandatory purse split. Now he got the mandatory and he thinks he's going to get even more? He knows he's going to get a beating and his career will enter the downward turn just like Peter, Arreola, Gomez, Williams. He is just trying to milk all he can from K2, simple as that. If Solis dedicated himself to training and took boxing seriously, he wouldn't need to worry so much about "respect" in negotiations and money; he'd take the fight, go in there and earn that respect by beating Vitali and taking the title........but he won't so whining is all he offers.
