Why do so many Klitschko fans accuse others of being racists?

Basic psychology.
Racists accuse their victims of imaginary "Reverse racism" (No such thing), when they complain as some sort of psychotic justification for their own racist actions.

Why is there racism in boxing? I think it's a dominance thing. A fight is seen as more than just a man against another man. It's often portrayed as country v country, or race v race. Who's a stronger race of people? Who's more athletic and so on. As if one man, or one fight can decide such a thing. And because it's an aggressive sport, those self - preservatory, aggressive, neanderthalic tendencies come out to play, even with the fans, and thus racism is often openly present, where it might not be in another sport.

People have a tendency to claim racisim when someone of a different race crticizes a figther of their race. Simply bringing up race is another good way of being labeled a racist.
