Why do so many people hate Amir Khan?

Who cares what happens outside of the ring. Khan is one of the most exciting fighters in the sport. He always looks to take on the best. He has a glass jaw and lets his opponents hit it. Guaranteed entertainment.

 

I think people just like to talk down on certain fighters to make themselves feel better... Also he was supposed to be "the next big thing" and losers usually like to see successful people fail..

Fans get so upset about the personality of boxers.

Who gives a ****? Judge a fighter on what he does in the ring. Everyone loves watching Amir Khan fight.

Don't think people 'hate' him per se he just isn't a legit fighter and was hyped. He has no business in a Boxing ring he has one of the worst Chins ever and very little actual skill. Just a coddled hype job.

Yeah, he's so coddled that at 25 years old he's only fought Danny Garcia, Lamont Peterson, Zab Judah, Marcos Maidana and Paulie Malignaggi, all outside of his home country.
