Why do so many underrate pac's win over hatton?

"So many" under rate his win because the same "so many" derided Hatton before hand.

Yes I do Box, and KT did land big shots, a lot of theme were glancing dur to the fact that Hatton did have Boxing skills back then and he actually moved his head while he was coming forward.

Like Pacquiao seems to have done time and time again, he got there when the other guy was effectively finished

Yep exactly, he was done after the Mayweather fight, when a guy like Lazcano rocks somebody like Ricky Hatton then there is something that isn't right.

 

I think the reason why some people underrate Pacs' win( I don't ) against Hatton was that Hatton fought a very stupid fight. He underestimated Pacs' power. He thought he can just bully Pac all over the place. In some peoples' eyes, it wasn't how good Pac was in this fight, it was how bad Hatton was. IMHO, Pac made him look bad. Even if Hatton fought intelligently, he would still lose.

Taking age into account, over here in the UK obviously a lot ov the young Hatton fans are distraught as seeing their generational hero wiped out in such a manor & my son is one ov then I flew over 4 the fight & upset more than a few Hatton fans in the MGM Zuri lounge bar when i forcast Hatton being wiped out in 3 rd's max & even my son called me a traitor, my reply was an old one, never let yer heart rule yer head:good

I'd just based my opinion on watching the DLH fight, (****-all 2 do with DLH's weight issue's as i was one ov them that went nuts when DLH selected Pacman 4 his next midgit tasty morsel as he drove his company GoldenBoyPromotions onto global domination)

It was based on Pacquiao's speed against DLH that left me aghast & what with Hatton's drunken slob lifestyle & his total disregard 4 Pacmans victory over DHL + pacman being 2 small 4 him ect blar! blar! convinced me that we are going 2 see something special here.

Leaving *******s out ov it, i recken if yer've any bit ov boxing nouse yer should show a little bit more respect 4 the phillipino "phenom" & thats what he is folks, he's ****ed up the plans ov more than a few ov the boxing establishment, so enjoy the little ****er while he's still around, he's a breath ov fresh air unless your'e a fully suscribed member ov the GoldenBoy Circus that is.

The main reason they underate the victory was because pacman cheated.

Pac used the stick trick which had a bunch of goonies belt him all over his body with 4x4 wooden plank to destroy the nerves in his body, thus turning his glass body into ironman.

There were also rumours that, were neither confirmed or denied, that after the weigh-in Ricky's methods of rehydration were severely flawed, it included the consumption of sackloads of marshmallows which incidently led to some falling into his gloves , thus foaming an extra soft cushion, which incidently led to Pacman not being able to be hurt by the giant mighty Hitman.

 

Maybe he just wasn't that good to begin with? He wasn't particularly impressive pre Tsyzu, and when he did fight an over-the-hill Tsyzu, KT NEVER hit him with a full power shot with all his weight into it...that includes that arm punch pic of yours.

The chin never lies. Before Mayweather he was rocked by Collazo (just two fights after Tyszu). Rocked by Urango. Then KO'd by Mayweather. Rocked by Juan Lazcano.

Pacquiao would have destroyed ANY version of Hatton, including the one that fought Tsyzu. You'd have to be utterly blind not to see that.

 

i know that you are a big hatton fan, but no way any version of hatton would beat that pac after that trashing. i heard this kind of denial before with the hardcore barrera fans. its just the same phase you are going thru.

 

Hatton was not finished, simple as that.

He'd still beat everyone at 140 except maybe Bradley.

oh plzzzz hatton was nowhere near finished by the time pac fought him. Even before the fight many pick hatton to win. Pac is just that damn good.
