True, but you cant really say that. Because I am not singling out any one ethnicity! :yep Im saying all of them are at fault....

So i can guess you say I am factoring it in as a variable... Because Im not singling out 1 certain etnicity... therefore no bias :good

Whats with the philosophy class anyway :yep

I have said for a while that people tend to gravitate towards the fighters of their ethnicity.

Why hide it? It doesn't mean you have to be biased in your assessment though.

Example: I was pulling for Curtis Stevens against Brinkley... But as the fight wore on, I was kinda hoping he would get his black ass KTFO, because he's garbage in the purest form. And way overconfident. :hat

more like your boy and your daddy considering the amount of times you talk about them.

After Clottey gets koed on march 14 maybe your boy Williams will finally fight him since he wants to go back to 147,that fight should be called "who Cares?" or "Overrated".

I agree... American culture has gotten wayy too PC these days

If you take a white guy, who dosent know either fighters, he will always root for the white guy

Same with blacks, hispanics, asians, indians ect.....

It might be stupid, but lets not pretend it isnt human nature....

I personally try to refrain from it when i can, but... you cant say you dont feel a certain pride when a fighter of your ethnicity wins...

Its some dumb primitive **** that says, "yea i did it too"

And its pretty pathetic, because, you are taking credit from some dudes acomplishments, that have nothing to do with you :yep

I just feel bad for white americans, because the best they have is pavlik :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

the thing is, nobody has a perfect opinion. every opinion is biased. that's why it's called an opinion.

some may say pac is still lacks the skill in the technical dept. others say pac is the greatest.

but there's one thing we can agree of, the excitement and the fantastic feeling of watching fights that makes you drool over the tv screen, we all love the sport..

    the sport is called boxing.

Mayorga has been my hero since he beat 6 heads!
When i was a teen following boxing... I went thru a phase of being the "tough guy" smoking ciggarttes, drinking beer ect.. :rofl

So when i saw him come onto the scene, i thought he was like the second coming of christ :hey

I lost my respect for margarito after the wraps tho....
And i dont like arreola because hes wasting he career by being a fat ****..

But still... mayorga is the man :good:good:good:good

I will never forgot that pic of him in a jail cell smoking a ciggarette with dyed hair like 3 days before the tito fight :yep:yep:yep

He reminded me of my older friend of the neighborhood :patsch

i do pull for all puertorrican fighters and when chavez was fighting i pulled for him every fight but i can see a fight and be honest in my assesment of the fight.. but a lot of people that say that they're not bias are really bias because they have their own opinions and wont listen to anybody elses opinion... but boxing is like college football people go for their team and anybody else sucks

Forums are cesspools where people go to **** on each other. Rarely do you see friendly debates taking place. Angry people come here to take out their frustrations on others in an attempt to overcome problems in their life. Psychological bs aside, I agree with your points. I can easily tell you Boxing or any other sport is merely a game. Yet there are obsessed fans who see it as a religion. That said, there are individuals who take their sport(s) way too seriously. That's just how it is. I'm not saying it's illegal to feel that way but damn, these folks need to get their priorities straight. I would never get into a street fight over a game. Not worth my effort.

I've refrained from watching Pacquiao's future fights at a friend's place due to the fact that I would pretty much get stoned to death for verbalizing even the slightest form of criticism. I'll forever keep my opinions though. To a degree I'm a fan of every boxer since I'm a fan of the sport of Boxing. But I don't have to worship certain boxers. If I'm not crazy about Pac then that's my right to feel that way. Talking **** about that is like hating on me for not ordering the same thing you order at a restaurant.

PS. Because I criticize Pac doesn't make me a Floyd lover. Though they have their faults both dudes are great for the sport of Boxing. But I have my favorites which don't include them.
