Why do some feel Wilder has a tougher defence than Joshua next?

Why do some feel Wilder has a tougher defence than Joshua next? Is it because Ortiz has an 0? Surely not as so many have disagreed with me and say an o means nothing.

Kubrat has only lost to Wladimir and I would have favoured that Wladimir to have beaten Ortiz.
    Kubrat beat -
    27-0 Ustinov
    32-1 Dimitrenko
    Sprott
    Chisora
    Thompson
    Peter
    Johnson
    Skelton

Why do some rate Wilders defence as tougher?

Ortiz is tougher for Wilder than Pulev is for Joshua.

Both are top6 HWs but most here would take Ortiz H2H.

May be because Ortiz can box and can punch also. While Pulev cant punch and has only jab.
Also its big step up in competition for Wilder.Joshua fought Wlad.

    > Joshua has already beaten the guy that blew Pulev out of there.

    > Ortiz is Wilder's first top five opponent.

    > Most people think Ortiz would beat Pulev.

Because Pulev is crap and poses no stylistic advantages over Joshua. Ortiz is still a top five heavyweight with big knockout power and world class boxing ability.

Pulev has three common opponents with Carlos Takam and looked worse against all of them. Think on that for a moment.

Why would you take Ortiz H2H. Ortiz didnt look great against M Scott or Allen, fighters who had lost to Chisora and Whyte respectively

If Ortiz has anything left he should beat wilder convincingly. Pulev will be pulverised....nice one predictive text

Think how Pulev handled Chisora who looked better against Scott than Ortiz did

They're both slow as treacle so there's no athletic advantage either way. A basic 1-2 merchant is bread and butter to a slick counter puncher. Especially when the counter puncher has a significant range advantage and more power.

I wouldn't judge Ortiz by his fight with Scott in any way. I'm not sure if Scott is even a boxer, I think he might be some kind of an avant-garde artist.

Because Ortiz is undefeated. Although he looks very beatable it still needs to be done.

Pulev has only lost to Wlad. But Joshua and Wlad are similar fighters in that they are both very big, strong, hard punching guys which Pulev won't be able to overcome with just some nice footwork and a jab. I think him fighting Joshua will be very similar to him fighting Wlad.

Also there still is the unknown in Wilder since he hasn't faced to same opposition as Joshua.

TBF outside of a 41yo inactive Wlad both AJ and Wilder's resumes are pretty much the same.

Only difference is Joshua has beaten common opponents far easier and he's had a third of the fights in doing it.

I rate Pulev and think he could cause Joshua problems for a few rounds and Imo the verdict is still out on Ortiz, personally I'm not seeing the alleged killer everyone else seems to see but fair play to Wilder, he's stepped up against a guy Hearn and Joshua don't seem eager to face.

It was a bit of the Scott and Allen fights as they were more recent
