Why do some people hate Vic Darchinyan?

    Some people can say just about any thing and make it sound good, see Ali...Other guys sound like a dick almost no matter what they say, see Vic...He's fun to watch though, very exciting fighter...Just comes across as a poor sport and a dick...

    He draws the fans though, whether they're there to see him lose or root for him...I think many will appreciate him more when he's not around...

    Vic is a legend. I think if he could speak English a little better he'd be much more popular.

    Interesting to watch, loads up on just about every punch, unorthodox and likes to fight.
    I'll watch his fights anytime it's on.

    But there's just something about him that makes me wanna see him get KTFO.

    (Nothing about his race or nationality. I like Vanes)

    Similar to how I feel about an aggressive, cocky, great defensive basketball player, in that I always wanna see them get viciously dunked on.

    It is interesting, because both of them are cocky, both of them are exciting, both of them have embarrassing losses. Both are two weight champs, having become undisputed in one of those divisions.

    Differences:
    Vic is now a three weight division champ. Advantage Vic.
    Vic because undisputed in a deeper division. Advantage Vic.
    Haye has dropped away from being an exciting fighter, and can have some real stinkers. Advantage Vic.

    But Haye was a model, and Vic looks like an evil hybrid between a garden gnome and a vulture. Advantage Haye, if you swing that way (and it looks like a lot of people do)

    He's said some things that are a bit classless but for some fighters they almost need to act this way to exist as they would like in the sport. Tyson said and did far worse yet is adored in some quaters. Personally, I think he makes for entertaining viewing and just get passed the **** talking to see an all action and unorthdox fighter.

    That is one of the most overused and juvenile tactics on ESB. "the same people who _____ are the same ones who ____ (contradictory/hypocritical thing)."

    Oh yeah? Like WHO? Cite specific names and specific posts or BULL**** will be called. Nobody EVER gives specifics when making those stupid statements.

    Vic is a nasty little man. He wants to rub people the wrong way. Maybe its just a small core of fans whose favorite fighters have been beaten by Vic.

    The post fight he gets the most smack for is the Donaire fight. He did say some stupid **** there, but he had just been pancaked moments before.

    Which leads to the point, the commenatators could use to give a KO'd fighter some time before stickin' a got damn microphone in his face.
