Why do the British heavyweights Fury & Price avoid the Klitschkos like the plague?

Fury & Price are the next big superstars in the heavyweight division. Huge punchers with great chins, future HOFs according to Brits.

Why dont they want to fight the semi-retired Klitschko brothers?

Because they are novices who haven't learned a trade yet. It is possible for either or both to improve and they are nothing like good enough to beat a Klitschko and know this.

    I'm glad they are waiting.

Because they're both novices and nobody has said either one of them have great chins or are future HOF's. No-one.

They are novices? A novice has under 10 fights.

Fury had 19 fights. Price had 13.

Chisora had 14 fights when Wladimir signed to fight him (injury prevented the fight from happening)

Mandatory Povetkin was to fight Wladimir when he had 15 fights.

Why do the Klits want to fight novices with less than 20 fights?

Who has Price fought in his 13 fights? This isn't a guy who was facing competition like Rigo, Gamboa or De La Hoya in those fights. Povetkin had already beaten Chambers and Byrd (not by coincidence, all those guys had stellar amteur careers).

Fury's best win is a woefully out-of-shape Chisora and Price's is, who? Sexton?

I can't imagine why Wlad or Vitali would want to fight guys who haven't even stepped up to Euro level yet.

They have power, not great chins, and i'd be surprised to see either reach the HOF, I'm sure most Brits will agree.

Your boxing status is not dependant on how many fight you've had, Rigondeaux has only just left Novice status according to you, yet he is a world champion?

Povetkin has been ducking Wlad for a long time, why even bring him up?

    According to who?

Use any word you like. Fury, who has just scraped into the Ring top 10 and Price, who hasn't made it yet, don't feel like they are ready yet. They are right.

What other answer are you looking for? What is the purpose of this thread if not to dig out this information?

Well, that's different. It's not as if Wlad was a decorated amateur or anything. He was green but Fury and Price are obviously vastly experienced and right at their peak.

I agree. Also Antony Joshua should fight one of the bros on his pro debut otherwise he's a blatant duck. Staying amateur to avoid klitchkos. Pathetic:-(
