I am an avid haye supporter. don't take that as nuthugging i know he has a dodgy chin and poor stamina and is actually a pretty poor finisher considering the power and speed he has. However i'm british and i like him so if u can't handle that i'm sorry. That said why isn't he fighting wlad? Even through my rose tinted glasses it looks like a bit of a ***** move. The only way i can think of it working is that it probably makes more sense in terms of money to go after vitali and set up a big money revenge clash with wlad. Also might give him a psychological edge over wlad. Pretty far out theory to be honest but i also think that the entire drugs testing malarkey with pac-may was partly ego's and mostly letting the fight cook
You think Haye is a poor finisher? Hmm. Weird. Anyway, I'm not getting worked up over it or Pac/May or Darchinyan/Donaire or whatever other one. They'll do what makes sense for them and we'll get what we get. Like you said, we don't know what's real as far as his plans anyway.
i have a feeling haye only wants one more fight, all this "they've gotta decide which klitschko is the champ" etc shame... no other british/americans heavy weight of world class
lol calling himself a haye fan and saying haye is a poor finisher. haye wont miss you when you leave the fan train trust me
I used to be a Haye fan. But I expect a whole lot more out of a fighter. Haye as a cruiser was a totally different fighter and person than he is as a heavy.
Fan train...suspect? Anyways, what makes it worse is before all this, he was talking up a storm, now he's gone silent.
If I was a Haye fan, I'd be majorly dissappointed with his behaviour in recent months. He chased and chased after a fight with Wlad, and when the time neared, he "bitched out" as Wlad himself put it. Then, he has his chance to step in with the other brother, and "bitched out" again! Now after fighting a pathetic soft giant in Valuev, and a shot zombie in Ruiz, Haye is at that stage now where he must fight a Klitschko next. Failure to do so, will expose him for what he appears to have set out to do from the beginning. And that was to scream and make a ridiculous amount of noise when walking in to the playground, and directing it to two of the biggest and baddest boys out there, all in attempt to leverage his name and popularity. Haye’s fans may now be fearing the worst, which is that the hunger he initially had to fight these guys, is slowly evaporating and leaving him. I as a boxing fan, sincerely hope this is not the case.
you don't sound like much of a fan. "I know he has a dodgy chin and poor stamina and is a bad finisher" lmao
Im a huge Haye fan as well (although i do think he is a good finisher). It seems very strange to me that he chased Wlad ever since he moved up in weight, now when the fight can be made......we hear nothing? Its all very odd. I understand that these things take time, and perhaps no news is good news (i dont think the IBF have issued a further statement after the deadline was passed) but anything other than a Wlad fight wouldnt do it for me. He is pretty much considered THE MAN at HW, so for me even a Vatali fight would be a ***** move after Wlad publically called him out with that brilliantly made video
nothing to laugh at, this is the difference between a fan and a complete nut hugger, at least he is honest. Just because your a fan doesn't blind you to the obvious, i'm sure khan has plenty of fan who will openly admit he has a dodgey chin, sometimes this draws in the fans as it makes fights exciting.
90 % KO really good finisher WFT and If he doesnt fight wlad, he will be disgracing all of britain. Adam booth is a ****ing loser too
As an American, I used to think that the heavyweight title was our birthright. Now I will settle for a Brit or Canadian or Aussie on top. Anyone but another friggin' ruskie. It might not be so bad if we had two who would fight each other. But so far the Klits haven't fought Sergei or Valuev or Povetkin or Oleg or any other commie who looked like a threat. Seems like all they wanna do is take on some prospect with a couple of gimme wins over the usual suspects before they can get enuff experience to actually become a threat.
I'm a fan of Haye's and to be honest I don't really care which Klit he fights next as long as he does fight one of them.
Exactly. It's easy to be a fan of a guy like Pacquiao, a complete package, can argue he's unbeatable... but many fighters have fans despite their obvious weaknesses (take Wlad for example). I agree with OP, it's cool that you can see through the bull****. I also expected a lot from Haye but you just can't defend this **** with a straight face.
I must say I'm a bit let down by Haye, I really thought he would jump at the chance to get Wlad in the ring as soon as he could. Hopen they can still sort it out and that Haye's not bitchin out
