Not at all, just something to think about because I get mad a judges not ruling correct knockdowns just because a ref missed it.

mosley outlanded forrest in round two, though he was getting his ass whooped. punch stats mean next to nothing.

    ding ding ding ding.

It doesn't take ring generalship into account either. Then one fighter can be outlanded but that fighter can land the more significant punches.

Generally speaking the judges aren't that bad. I may not always agree with a card but I can see how they saw it the way they did.

People like you are the reason that we're going to be ruled by machines in the future. Thanks a lot, *******.

    Compubox is bull****. Proves nothing.

Was Tony Thompson was beating Wladimir Klitschko going into the 12th? Compubox said so.

Did Mayweather land over 200 punches on De La Hoya? Trinidad over 160 on Oscar? De La Hoya 260 on Tito?

    Compubox said so.

I only look at Compubox for punches thrown. I do like it for that.

Compu Box operators are a lot like judges. Some are really good, and do a great job. Others make me go What The ****:patsch

here we go for the dumb****s on here. compubox only gives you the amount of punches thrown and landed per fight, not who wins the rounds. theres much more to boxing than throwing a certain amount of punches in a round. to many people look to much into stats, and not the actual boxing, when in fact it should be the opposite way round.

In sports with much more clearly marked ways of scoring, such as baseball, a game doesn't feel right without a memorably bad call by a referee.

But in boxing, with about as subjective a scoring system as humanly possible, a memorably bad call puts a big fat asterisk on the record.

Besides, no computer's logic can account for love (i.e., the woman's lie you mentioned).

How about a nice game of chess?

Scoring a boxing match is not based on who lands the most or at the higher%. The judges decide who they think did better an give him 10 points the other guy gets 9 or less.
