Both Fightnews and Robert Earle Stanton on this site need to stop writing about boxing asap; the HBO crew made it clear ( and the slow motion proved it) Bhop never hurt with a punch Kovalev in the 12th, but simply threw him of balance as their feet got tangled up. The correction was immediate and live, with images to back it up. How in the world can so-called boxing writters push it under the rug and come up with this fantasy ?
If Kovalev was so badly hurt at that point, how was he able to come back almost immediately and beat the dog**** out of hopkins for the rest of the round?
I must say kovalev has shitty balance it makes it look like he's hurt when's he isn't.it also makes it easier to knock him down like caperello did.
Kovalev was balanced enough to leather Hopkins like he has everybody else. I'll take his shitty balance all day if you don't mind.
It seems like his detractors wouldn't be so blinded by their bias that they could see it for what it is, Sergio had the same problem yet everyone still insists that he had a weak chin. Because it fits their agenda.
I would too I was at the fight hopkins barely threw any punches but when he did it looked too me like he hurt kovalev when it was just his poor balance.my point is he needs to improve his balance somehow.
RJJ pointed out in the replay that Kovalev and Hopkins bumped legs, and Kovalev lost his balance there for a second, if you rewatch that 12th round it's obvious to see Writers being inept as usual though
Im not taking anything away from kovalev you moron.Im a fan and I was rooting for kovalev to destroy hopkins.I just don't want guys getting cheap knock downs on kovalev because of his balance.Im a huge Martinez fan and I hated it when that happened to him.
I didn't say you were throwing off, I'm talking about the detractors of Sergey and Sergio. He has shitty balance like Sergio his chin is fine. I agree with you.
